Rebecca POV:
"GOD!" I hissed in pain as my skin are flaming red due to the sun.
The sun is shining brightly, almost blinded my eyes while my exposed skins start to deal with immense pain. Even the corner of the prison room shines with the brightness which drives me insane.
Tremble in pain makes me know that I am in a worse position ever. Yet, it will never able to crumble me down because I tend to be stronger and depend on myself.
"UURGHHHH!!!" I screamed my lungs out.
Suddenly, I feel a strong connection with someone. He is calling my name and he knows that I am in pain which let me feel his madness and anxiousness. I hate the fact that I want him to save me, so, I shut off my connection with him and think the best option to get out of this situation.
My barely open eyes looked at the open curtains and an idea comes up automatically. As I try to withstand the scorching heat, I swiftly go to the curtains and shut it off, which makes me breathe in relieved.
"That psychotic man!"
I try to sit at the corner of the prison cell but my burnt skins, sting, and I decided to make it regenerate first. It takes a longer time than it usually is as the Vervain still remained in my blood.
For a couple of minutes, my skin fully recovers from the damaged. I lay down on my back at the cold floor, that soothes my body's heat. I stared at the ceiling, think about how to escape from this hellish place but all of sudden, my brain starts to recalled about Violet.
"Violet? Why he keeps on calling me Violet? Is she my sister or a twin?" I tap my fingers on the floor for a couple of time.
"Violet is a human and he called me, Violet! Half-human? A hybrid? Me?" I chuckled at the thoughts that I am having.
"It doesn't make any sense though.... but wait! Why I feel that I'm forgetting something? There are some plot holes though." I talk to myself.
"I can't remember anything aside from yesterday. The last thing I can remember is I'm being chased by 5 vampires and drink out this guy's blood. after that, everything blackout." With a frowned face, I decided to recall something else.
"Who is the guy that keeps calling after me? Why does he know that I am in danger? Is he my mate? I don't remember anything else! WHY?" I rack my brain, try to have a glimpse of memory. I keep on pushing my head until it hurts, a lot!
"NO!!" I scream while holding my head that throbbed with immense pain. I curled myself on the cold floor while closing my eyes and a sudden white flash appear in front of my eyes.

'Rebecca! Forget about me! Try to withstand this pain!' A man forces me as he electrocutes me for several times.
He shoves me into the Holy Water, and I keep trashing around, asking for help. The vivid feeling of being suffocating in the water made me struggle for my life but still unable to break free from his strong forces. Numbness conjure all over my body and I am ready to meet my death. After lots of tantrum, I finally surrender and that is when I was engulfed with darkness.
I thought that I was dead but a voice from a far distance can be heard and blurry images start to appear.
"Mom, Where is dad?" A faint voice belongs to a girl.
The mom crouched to her level and smile, "He is looking at us from above. Do you love stars?"
"I love the stars!" The girl chimes, brightly.
"You can pray to the stars and your father will hear you. Dad always be with you!" Her mother said.
"Really? I will pray from now on!" The girl smiles happily.
The pink cherries petals and colourful scenery that surround them make everything look so perfect, beautiful!
'I wish I can experience that.' I envy them.
They play hide and seek, thus the girl runs along the riverside but due to unbalanced, makes her fall in the river. Her mother gaps widely and went for a rescue.
"VIOLET!!" She screamed.
'Violet?' I mutter to myself.
"Argh!" I scream again as indescribable pain pierce my brain.
The images resonate and at a full speed, my brain gush with multiple memories. Too much to handle makes everything engulf with darkness, once again.

Around 6 in the evening, after all the plans and strategies in saving Violet, Xavier and Maria finally walking their way towards an old deserted apartment, that gives creepy chills on Maria's skin.
They slowly walked into the building while not make any single sounds. Once they reach the 5th floor of the apartment, Maria notices that the place seems quiet and empty compared to their expectations.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Maria asks Xavier, who instantly cover her mouth with his harsh hands.
"Shhhh!" He glared at her.
In a second, there are two men with muscular body, appear in front of them.
"What are you doing here, kids?" A guy with beard asks them.
"Just want to take a look because it seems like a cool place---to murder someone!" Xavier stands up straight while giving them a deadly glared. He stuffed him both hands in his pockets.
Another guy that wearing a spectacle with no lenses, said:
"I didn't know that a vampire and a human will come by to this place. I believe that you must be her friend!"
'So, Violet is really here.' Maria thoughts to herself.
"This place is indeed the best spot to have a fight. Do you want to have a brawl with me?" Xavier is challenging them.
"Ha, acting all-mighty aren't you?" The vampire bodyguards take their fighting position.
The guy with a beard, make a sudden sprint towards Xavier and tackle him down to the floor. Without surprise, Xavier headbutts the guy's nose and kneed hard on his abdomen which makes him lower his guard. Xavier uses his strengths in grabbing the guy's head and twisted his neck. The guy fainted on him and Xavier pushes him aside to stand up on his feet.
"It's your turn now!" Xavier smirks at the guy with spectacle.
In a second, the guy goes towards Maria and choked her by her neck which makes her unable to breathe.
"HAHAHA HOW ABOUT THIS MAN? If you make an unnecessary movement, I will kill her!" He wants to take her as his hostage.
Maria desperately wants to release herself from his grabs. She grabs his wrist as her eyes fill with tears. Her wills in preserving her life make her, unconditionally use her magic, and burn the guy's wrist. She loses control of her power and the flame spreads all over the guy's body which makes him scream in agony.
Xavier shocked by her action and immediately kneed her legs which makes her regain back her composure. Maria's vision become clearer and when she snaps back to reality, she trembles as she just kills the guy with her own hands.
"OH MY GOD!" Maria covers her mouth and holding back her tears when seeing the guy's ashes.
"It's not your fault. He is going to kill you anyway!" Xavier said. "You can think about this after we save Violet!"
"Ho--how about this guy?" Maria ask
"He's dead. Just leave him here! Let's go."
Once they beat up the Vampire bodyguard, they swiftly walk into the room and see a prison cell in it. Maria noticed Violet, who is lying down on the floor in a miserable state, immediately went to the cells.
"Violet! WAKE UP VIOLET!" Maria screams to her while grabbing the silver pillars. "Break this down, Xavier."
Xavier grabs the pillar but his both hands burn as the pillars were covered with Vervain. He screams in pain which makes Maria startled, but Xavier reluctant to let go the metallic door. Instead, he pulls the door with much power which makes the cell's door flew open.
Maria immediately went to Violet and hold her in her hands.
"Violet! Open your eyes please." Maria cries.
Xavier with painful hands punches the wall which makes it cracks, horribly.
"Rebecca!" He mutters to himself.
"Xavier, help me bring Violet out from this place!" Maria said.
"Not so soon, children!" The guy who kidnapped Violet appears in front of them.
Maria's eyes widen to see a familiar face in front of her while Xavier full of anger.
"MR. LEWIS? What are you doing here, teacher?" Maria said in confusion.
Mr Lewis exudes with confidence, gets into the room with another two bodyguards. Xavier ignites with anger, rush over to him and punches his face. The strong impact on Mr Lewis's left cheek makes his tooth fall out. Xavier is out of control as he sees his mate in a miserable state.
Maria gaps and her eyes widen as she looked at them.
"YOU--!" Mr Lewis wipes the blood at his lips. He is signalling to his bodyguard to caught Xavier.
A guy with nose pierce, punch Xavier's nose and then kick his stomach, which makes him throws up blood. He cuffs Xavier's hand with his strong hands and make Xavier facing Mr Lewis.
"You ruin my face! I was just about to have a romantic date and you ruin EVERYTHING!" He yells at Xavier's face, who still gritted his teeth.
"YOU DESERVE TO DIE BECAUSE THE FACT YOU DO TO MY MATE IS WORSE THAN I DID TO YOU!"
'Mate?' Maria stunts by his word.
Xavier flared his sharp gums and sink it into the hand of Vampire guard that captive him. That man looses his grip which made Xavier hold his hand and twisted it until his bone crack.
"AHHH!" That guy screams.
Xavier sees the wooden stick beside him and swiftly take it and stab the guy's heart with it. The man starts to whimper in pain as his body's colour turn blue and eventually turn into a speck of dust.
The murderous aura of Xavier makes everyone in the room gaps. Xavier lay his eyes on Mr Lewis and instantly, rush towards him.
"YOU PROTECT ME!" Mr Lewis commands his Vampire bodyguard to guard him. Before Xavier launched towards Mr Lewis, he sees a familiar face.
"Isaac? What are you doing here?!" Xavier in disbelief.
"I have to do this, Sire. I have made a deal with him!" He reluctantly said to Xavier.
His statement does only exploded Xavier's patience as he just knows that his bestfriend make a deal with the man. Xavier tries to gains back his composure and calmly, ask Isaac.
"Why you make a deal with this man?" Xavier ask.
"I was force to." Isaac looks down.
Xavier knows the secret behind this which makes him mad.
"I will talk to him for you. So, you can break free from your contract with this peasant!" Xavier eyeing Mr Lewis.
"Isaac! I'm your master and you can't easily break this contract until I get what I want!" Mr Lewis said.
Xavier wants to punches his face but was stopped by Isaac.
"I'm really sorry Xavier. I can't break this deal easily."
Xavier take a deep breath and remain calm.
"If you said so, let him get what he wants but I will look at what are you doing!"
Isaac smiles as his friend is able to understand his current situation.
"But if you hurt her again, I'm not going to show you any mercy!" Xavier warned Isaac.
"I'm not going to do that as she is not the main target." Isaac said in assurance.
"What do you mean?" Xavier asked.
"She is just a hostage in order to get the main target, which is her mother."
Maria, who heard his statement, abruptly turn around to confront Mr. Lewis.
"What is wrong with you, Mr. Lewis? What do you want from her mother?" She is mad.
Mr. Lewis smile, creepily.
"Just want to look at her pretty face once again. I'm going to make her mine this time!"
"Ewww. You pervert old hack!" Maria remarks in despise.
"Why you kidnap Violet?" Xavier clench his fist.
"It is the only way to make her mom come and see me." He said.
"But why you torture her?" Xavier seeks for an answer.
"Well, she just deserves it because she looks just like her dad!" Mr. Lewis laugh ironically.
Xavier punch his face with much force. His eyes are burning with desire to kill him on the spot. He threw several punches until Mr. Lewis throw up blood.
"ISAAC, HELP ME!!" Mr. Lewis shouts.
Unable to break free from his command, Isaac stops Xavier from killing Mr. Lewis.
"Don't stop me!" Xavier grabs Isaac's collar.
"I can't! But if you want, just kill me Xavier so I can break free from this hell." Isaac looks directly into his soul.
Xavier face softened and his anger subsided a bit.
"I might be a murderer but it doesn't mean that I have no humanity until to kill my only family!" He said in a soft voice as he gain his composure.
Xavier slowly take a step back and sit on the couch. He massage his forhead as he think of a solution. Meanwhile, Mr. Lewis remain laid back on the floor, holding back his pain.
Maria worried about everyone and she absolutely does not want to see any bloodshed again. She stare at Violet, absentmindedly, and notice that Violet's eyes flutter open.
"Violet, are you okay?" Maria squeaky voice, alerting Xavier's ears.
Violet limply lays in Maria's embrace.
"Where am I?" Violet said in a daze.
Xavier immediately went to her and hold her hand, firmly.
"I'm sorry for being late, love."
Violet and Maria surprised by his words but Xavier only choose to be straight forward.
He looks warmly into Violet's eyes and said:
"I miss you."
Violet's heart skips a beat.
