Rex's team had dropped to 10th place after suffering a defeat at the hands of Akor. The victory not only propelled Akor's team above them but also pushed them ahead of Yinad's team, which had previously held the second position, right below the Earth team.
Zeix's team managed to break into the Top 10, securing 9th place. The relief among them was apparant—they no longer had to fear retaliation from Urzo when they returned to their home planet.
Meanwhile, Vral's team achieved an even more remarkable feat. Utilizing the Perpetual Stamina Reserve she now shared with Jay, Vral surpassed the rankings of both Tyuk's and Vorqen's teams.
Jay's numerous passive skills, which granted him extraordinary stamina regeneration, provided Vral with access to a seemingly inexhaustible reservoir of stamina.
This advantage allowed her to augment her attacks in Round-3, driving her team's performance to new heights. They had outperformed Pompa's and Seath's teams, claiming 4th place after Rex's team was pushed down.
The highest-scoring team aside from Earth barely managed to accumulate 17 million points. In stark contrast, the Earth team—bolstered by Jay's unprecedented contributions—secured an overwhelming 1.7 billion points.
Their lead was insurmountable. Even if the rest of the Top 10 teams combined their scores, they couldn't reach one-tenth of the Earth team's total. In fact, the combined scores of all participating teams across the Tournament still fell short of Earth's staggering achievement.
With the second segment finalized and the scores confirmed, Round-3 came to a close, marking the end of the Tournament. Both segments had concluded earlier than anticipated, leaving three hours to spare before Day-20 comes to an end.
As his responsibilities as Tournament Manager drew to a close, Wibbit approached the Earth team.
Jay's ambitions had already been made clear through his declaration at the end of Round-2, to form a faction and make it the ruling force of the Milky Way Trial World.
Acknowledging this, Wibbit refrained from extending another invitation for Jay to join the Myriad Beast Sect. Instead, he shifted the conversation toward a potential alliance.
Wibbit proposed fostering goodwill between the Myriad Beast Sect and the Orion Vanguard. He assured Jay that if his faction ever required assistance, the sect would be happy to provide support.
With no strings attached to the offer, Jay readily agreed but remained pragmatic. He had no intention of relying on external help to expand Orion Vanguard once the Trial Program and its protection period ended.
By then, Jay believed he would have surpassed the 2nd Universe Limit, achieving a level of power that rivaled, if not exceeded, the mightiest beings in the Virgo Supercluster.
He even dared to imagine holding his ground against the rulers of the Mega Clusters. Such a future felt within reach, a horizon just waiting to be claimed.
Lost in these thoughts, Jay was pulled back to reality by a series of worldwide announcements. The notifications detailed recent conquests of Obelisks on other continents.
Some were from the 6th Continent, while others hailed from the 8th. It was the handiwork of the Corins, whom Jay had dispatched to neighboring continents specifically to deal with the Obelisks there.
He had sent five to the 6th Continent and the remaining five to the 8th. Jay was confident that by the time Day-21 began, following the mandatory rest period, the Corins would have conquered all one hundred Obelisks across those two continents. This feat would then unlock the 5th Order Obelisks for Jay to deal with himself.
Jay was filled with anticipation to conquer the new Obelisks set to emerge on Day-21, seize control of them, and move on to challenge the 6th Order Obelisk.
The rewards for clearing it were so substantial that Jay couldn't wait to claim them, especially the title of 'Seeded Prime Prospect' awarded for conquering a 6th Order Obelisk.
With it, one would stand above the ALPHA PRIME Prospects, moving a step closer to becoming the ALPHA PRIME of the Milky Way Galaxy.
The Tournament's ultimate goal was to identify the strongest Alpha Chosen, crowning them as the ALPHA PRIME. This individual would oversee the Trial World and serve as the Milky Way Galaxy's representative in the vast universe.
The hierarchy beneath the ALPHA PRIME was clear: Seeded Prospects held sway just below them, followed by the typical Prospects.
The final tournament determines the outcome by pitting all the Prospects against one another, with the ultimate winner earning the title of ALPHA PRIME.
Until the Trial Program concludes, with the Beta and Gamma Programs still remaining, the ALPHA PRIME title remains temporary.
Anyone who defeats the current titleholder in a system-recognized duel can claim the title for themselves.
The individual holding the title at the end of the Trial Program will be officially finalized as the permanent ALPHA PRIME and granted a unique prefix to the title, signifying their recognition across the Universe.
By becoming a Seeded Prospect, Jay would gain special privileges in the final Tournament, which promises to differ significantly from the first two Tournaments.
The final Tournament would consist of only two rounds: the first to determine the Top-10 teams across the Trial World and the second to select the Top-10 Chosen on the planet, ultimately deciding who would claim the ALPHA PRIME title.
Jay had yet to share this information with his faction members. With ten days still remaining, he had plenty of time to prepare them.
Shaking off his thoughts, Jay glanced around. Unlike the previous Tournament, which was disrupted by the Monster Intrusion, the participants were now at ease, free from the constant fight for survival. Instead, they mingled and socialized with the Alpha Chosen from other Trial Regions.
Jay had assigned recruitment matters to Dante, and had his top subordinates assist him. They set up a desk-like arrangement at the center of the Colosseum ground, calling out to those interested in joining Jay's faction.
At the same time, MJ managed logistics, distributing the mass-produced Wristband Prototypes to the recruits willing to become part of Orion Vanguard.
As the Colosseum filled with activity, with people crowding around Dante and others with him to enroll, Jay quietly slipped away to the Earth Resthouse and resumed his cultivation.
Obstacles still loomed on his path to becoming the ALPHA PRIME—whether it was the other factions that had already formed, Urzo, or top Prospects like Regaz and Drogor.
While the obstacles weren't overly daunting, Jay refused to grow complacent. He trained relentlessly, pushing himself to become even stronger and to ensure he could hold his ground against any threat.
With that determination, Jay resumed refining his Origin Physique. Time slipped by as Day-20 came to an end, and everyone returned to their respective home planets for the rest period.
