Chapter 62 - 61

DEMI'S POV

"Thanks so much for helping with Alex yesterday." I spoke to Wilmer the following morning. Wilmer and I were sitting in my kitchen eating breakfast together.

"It's not a problem, Hermosa." Wilmer replied, his accent noticeable. I blushed at the nickname he used to call me when we dated a while back. I think I'm still in love with Wilmer.

"We can be honest about anything, right?" I questioned.

"Yes, of course." He answered. I stared into his brown eyes and I swear that I fell in love even more.

"I.. I'm still in love with you, Wilmer." I stuttered out but was blunt about it.

"I don't know what to say." Wilmer told me. "But I do know what to do." He got up from his chair and came over to me. The next thing I know is that we're kissing.

"Eww, get a room." Wilmer and I heard Alex's voice at the kitchen entrance. We broke from the kiss and looked at each other. We were both blushing madly.

"Come eat breakfast, baby girl." I said to Alex as I put a plate of pancakes on the table.

"We're going to act like that make out scene didn't happen?" Alex questioned as she took a bite of her pancakes.

"Well.." I smiled sheepishly.

"Does this make Dilmer a thing again?" She asked. I didn't know how to answer.

"Yes." Wilmer spoke up for me. "I love you, Hermosa."

"I love you more." I blushed more if that was even possible.

ALEX'S POV

"Dilmer forever." I filmed both of them and laughed.

"If you post that, I'll kill you." Wilmer joked.

"Looks like I'm asking for a death wish." I joked back as I posted it. "What are we doing today?" I asked as I put my plate in the sink.

"Well, what do you want to do?" Mom questioned as she leaned against the counter.

"Can we go to the beach?"

"Of course, baby girl." She smiled. "Go put on a swimsuit and we'll leave in thirty minutes." Mom ushered me upstairs.

I changed into a light grey and white striped bikini. I looked in the mirror and frowned at how much weight I've gained. I saw out of the corner of my eye that Ella walked into my bathroom. I must've forgot to shut the door.

"Do I look fat, Ella?" I asked the small, white, fluffy dog as I picked her up, even though I knew she couldn't talk. I looked at the scars on my wrists and thighs which were barely noticeable now. It's been almost two months since I last harmed myself.

"Alex! Are you ready?!" Mom shouted from downstairs. I quickly slid on a pair of flip flops and threw on a tee shirt and bounded down the stairs.

"I'm ready!" I smiled. "Please say Wilmer is driving." I joked.

"I'm not that bad!" Mom exclaimed.

"Sure." Wilmer and I both replied sarcastically at the same time. We got in Wilmer's car and started driving to the beach.

"Are you excited for the beach, beautiful?" (A/N: Not in a perverted way) Mom asked, looking back at me.

- TRIGGER WARNING/FLASHBACK -

"Sit down." He commanded and smirked at me. I hesitantly sat down in the chair. He got close to me and I could smell alcohol in his breath. "You're looking sexy." He said sexually. He rubbed his hand up and down my leg, causing me to flinch and try backing away. He held me in his grip.

"P-Please stop." I whispered.

"Never." He forcefully took my shirt off of me and touched me all over. He did that for the full hour. "See you on Thursday, beautiful." He told me as I put my shirt back on before I left the room.

- TRIGGER WARNING/FLASHBACK OVER -

"S-Stop the car!" I exclaimed, feeling nauseous.

"Alex, are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly.

"Just stop the car!" I cried out as Wilmer slowly pulled over. As soon as we pulled over I opened the car door and threw myself out of the car. I threw up, thinking about how Joe touched me every therapy session. Who would do that to a fourteen year old? Mom held my hair back as I threw up and proceeded to rub my back.

"Alex, are you okay to go to the beach?" Mom asked worriedly after I was done throwing up. Wilmer came over and gave me a bottle of water.

"Yeah.. I'm fine." I whispered after taking a sip of water. "Just.. I'll explain later.." I told her, knowing she'll want an explanation. Wilmer helped me stand up and I got in the car. I leaned my head against the window as we continued to drive to the beach. When we arrived, I quickly got out of the car and ran to the water. I threw off the tee shirt that was covering my bikini.

"Wait! Let me get a picture before you go in." Mom told me. I sighed as she pulled out her phone.

"Post it for me?" I asked after she took the picture.

"Of course." She smiled. After she took my picture I ran into the water.

"It's cold!" I complained and laughed.

"I got a solution!" Wilmer suggested. I then was tackled under the water.

"WILMER!" I screamed as I came out of the water. "How rude!" I laughed and I tackled him under the water. That went on basically the whole time we were at the beach.

"I hate to ruin your fun, but it's getting late and we have to eat dinner!" Mom yelled out towards us.

"Fine." Wilmer and I said at the same time, acting like little kids.

"What am I going to do with you two?" Mom laughed as we got in the car.

"What's for dinner?" I asked Mom.

"I was thinking we could run through the Taco Bell drive thru?" Mom suggested. Wilmer and I agreed. We all got tacos and Mom got one of their pizzas with her taco. We brought it back home to eat it there.

"No, mine!" I exclaimed as Batman and Ella kept trying to get a bite of my food. A piece of meat dropped on the floor and they both went after it. "Are we sure we feed them?" I questioned as they went crazy over it.

"Last I checked, yes." Mom answered. I laughed as I threw away my garbage.

"I'm going to shower and head to bed." I told both Mom and Wilmer.

"I'm not so sure about that.." Mom looked worried.

"I promise, I'm not going to do anything stupid." I reassured her. It's true, I wasn't going to.

"Fine." Mom caved. "I love you, baby girl." Mom hugged me.

"I love you guys." I smiled and hugged both of them before heading upstairs. To say that today was amazing would be an understatement. It's times like these where I'm glad I have so many good people in my life.
