"Oh, how the great has fallen..."
A mocking yet seductive voice sounded from behind the main character, prompting him to turn around with a face that expressed rage; only for his anger to dissipate like smoke once he found out who the person was.
"Oh, its just you. Apologies, I was expecting that bastard to show himself, but he was never one to be so daring was he..."
The recipient of his words was a woman in a black dress holding an umbrella of the same color. Although the top half of her face was hidden behind the umbrella, she was in all sense of the word beautiful. Her presence on the contrary was the complete counter, making one feel nauseous and sick to their stomach.
The main character's words seemed to have struck a nerve as her face scrunched up in fierce anger as she said, "Don't you ever dare speak of his eminence with such disrespect again!" Her words conveying loyalty and devotion, common in cults...*give her the side eye*
"His eminence?" The main character laughed before saying, "To think there was a hierarchy in the Order of Chaos, quite out of place really..."
His words weren't taken comically as she replied, "Watch your tongue, you second-rate divinity! Do not speak of the Order of Chaos with such disregard or else you'll face dire consequences!"
The main character laughed once again hearing her say such blasphemous words, the part where she called him a second-rate divinity being the highlight.
'She really believes I'm the same as the divinities??? Oh Raven, you poor soul. So misguided...'
Calming down, the main character shook his head before cutting to the chase and asking, "Although this was a nice encounter, I didn't come here to talk to you, I came here to speak with little black... Wait, I summoned Chaos so why did you appear?!"
Raven hadn't heard the question as she was hung up on the insolent words that came out of his mouth. Daring to call her Master, her Messiah, little black? She was shacking from her turbulent emotions, causing the surroundings to descend into a state of Chaos.
Torrential winds blew in all directing causing the grass beneath her feet to fly in all directions.
Raven was just about to spout her delusions when she suddenly felt an insurmountable killing intent falling onto her. It was as though she was standing atop his palm, his figure casting over a shadow far darker than anything she could imagine.
The intent she experienced was so intense her whole body shook in fear, and as if it had become a thousand times heavier, she fell to her knees; followed by her head slamming into the ground, causing it to crack and buckle under her... Although she had let go of her umbrella, her face was still obscured due to the presence of her thick long hair.
"Raven, I do not like repeating myself, and unlike you who's a mere fragment, I am here in my entirety. So I suggest you answer my question...", his voice biting into her flesh with every word spoken.
Not being able to handle it anymore, Raven finally answered, "You summoned and I came! That's all!!"
'Huh?', the main character's face grew even colder, increasing the pressure on Raven, as he said as he circled around her, "I summoned and you came? But that would mean little black has given up Chaos as the source of power for his nexus... To think he would actually give up such a powerful nexus to his subordinate, what a caring leader. But that only raises my curiosity, what could he have replaced it with? Come now, dear Raven, aren't you going to tell me?"
Ravens body shook under the immense pressure exerted by the main character. Her muscles constricted as her blood vessels bulged, but she couldn't cover come that fierce pressure. With her quivering lips and cracking voice, she said, "I would never betray my Master! Especially not to you, a king without a throne!"
"Hah", the main character chuckled humorously, "Do hold your tongue when you're addressing a king, who knows, he might still have his sword..."
That statement, one that almost seemed innocent, made Raven shudder in terror. Her eyes frantically twitched as her breathing hastened, 'Could he have found the Atlas?! No, no, no it can't be! His eminence banished that damned thing into the Final Abyss!
Only one with a limitless attributed may enter that realm, and besides his eminence the only person with that attribute is the Primal God! FUCK! THIS IS BADD! I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!! I NEED TO REPORT THIS TO MY LEIGE!!!'
But no matter what she tried, she was firmly locked in place with scrutinous eyes observing her every action.
"My patience is running thin, oh Raven of Chaos..." The main character taunted, clearly getting bored of her uncooperative state, "I will never betray my liege! If you're going to kill me, kill me! But don't think this will be the end of things!"
Unfortunately, though, the main character only laughed at her words. Not taking her seriously in the slightest.
"Do you think I'm a fool? Do you think I'm going to let you off with a simple death? Do you think I'll allow you to escape with such ease? Child, your tricks are to shallow to trick me... Remember, I've been around far longer than anything you could imagine!"
He obviously didn't intend to kill her, that would be too easy and too much of a disadvantage for him. The was because he knew this wasn't the real Raven, she was only a friction of her whole consciousness inhabiting physical form.
'Killing her won't yield anything, instead I should...'
His thoughts trailed off, whatever it was, causing a devious smile to appear on his face. Raven felt a strong sense of crisis well up in her, causing her to try her best to resist the pressure upon her and escape. But all her attempts were futile... That realization was followed by the sight of the main character drawing a large array formation. Looking at it, she was confused as the runes used to construct the array weren't any she was familiar with.
'What are those runes?? Why haven't I seen them before??'
Whatever it was though, she knew I was bad news as she thought, 'I need to merge back into the main body as soon as possible!!'
Thinking up to there, her eyes closed as she extended her senses back to the real wold as there wasn't any chaos to feed on in the After Realm. Observing her surroundings though, she was she was caught off guard as she wasn't in her lair, instead she was in a fancy room next to an unconscious woman and a white haired young man. Once she understood what was happening she cursed as she said,
'Fuck! Since he's the one that summoned me, I'm only able to tap into his surroundings!!!'
If she didn't find Chaos then it was definite that she would experience the horrors the main character was preparing. Thinking of a solution, she turned to the unconscious woman before turning towards the white haired young man.
'Your service will be remembered!!'
She thought before flashing towards Han Sen with the intent of taking over his body. Making her way towards him, it was apparent she didn't understand the concept of plot armor as the moment she was within a meter of him, a semi-transparent golden barrier stopped her in her tracks. The most unfortunate thing being that all these shenanigans were invisible to Han Sen.
'How is this bastard able to block spirits?? Who is he? Is he part of some ancient bloodline or could he be carrying some rare artifact??'
Her thoughts ran wild as she scrutinized Han Sen from head to toe, the answer evading her senses like a well trained ninja.
'Fuck it! I'll just have to find someone else!'
With that she bolted out towards the city... even though there were other people inside the mansion, looking for a person to take over their body. *What a dumbass* . Correction, she intended to bolt out towards the city, unfortunately due to the curtain setup by the main character, she was violently forced back.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE!"
