Li Shunan didn't close the door and instead left it wide open. He walked directly out of the courtyard and said, "Let's go." The layout of this area was rather complex, to begin with. Besides, it was now nighttime, so it was probably even harder to grasp the direction.
Jiang Lingzhi followed behind him, with the faint light from the streetlamp as the source of light; she could see his upright back as he walked ahead.
She quickened her pace to catch up with him. Walking next to him and looking at his side profile, she asked, "Can you take me to the bus stop where you got off previously?"
She didn't know the place well, and she would be able to find her way home only after getting to the bus stop.
