Chapter 1 - Good Grief!

Belle walks through the streets of 'Falcon' a small city off to the outskirts of DewWater Kingdom. She had her black lab on his leash when some guy bumbed into her shoulder.

"Whatcha it Bitch!" The guy slurred and staggered farther down the Walk way. Belle sneered and realized she had dropped her dogs leash.

Vrin-

Belle grabs her phone and answered it while calling out to Jay she wondered who was calling her before she heard on of her gang members, second in command to be specific.

"Hey, Bee is this you?" J-j said into the phone.

"Yes J. it's me, your annoyingly hot and sarcastic leader." Belle joked, she continued to call for Jay, her black lab, who had to be somewhere.

"Ahhh, hahahahaha. So funny. Bee, where the hell are you?! This was supposed to be a fun party right before school started again. Why can't I find you any where?" J.'s voice was so tense, Belle felt sorry for the guy. She laughed and thought for a moment. Why hadn't she gone? Why had she took Jay out for a walk instead? Belle pushed these thoughts back, and thought about the war that was silently creeping closer and closer. Belle knew it already had been hundreds of years since the war had started, and it still hasn't ended.

"Oh, ummm. I lost Jay, I am looking for him right now. I would have come but Jay ran off and I can't find him." Belle lied, well partially lied. She had lost Jay and couldn't find him, but she knew that Jay wasn't the reason for her not going.

"Okay then, good luck finding him, see ya tomorrow..." J-j huffed into the phone and hung up on Belle.

Belle thought for a moment before going to an alley not far from her house and called for Jay. When he didn't answer, she walked towards the one even closer to her house.

Belle walked through the alley. Her lime green eyes looked as if they were glowing in the dark. Her black hair was curling at the tips, a side effect of

"Jay, you back here?" She whispered. Her voice quite and sweet. She heard a barking noise and saw her dog walk out from behind a couple of boxes. She smirked. She looked out of the alley. It was midnight and she had the first day of school tomorrow.

VringgggggV-

Her phone buzzed in her back pockets, again.

"'ello, this is Bee your speaking to." She said into the speaker as she picked up Jay's leash. She stroked his head and turned towards the entrance of the alley. Her house was a block away, and it was quite cold that night. And her off the shoulder plaid sweater and booty shorts weren't very warming.

"Bee this is Low. You find Jay yet?" Belle's eyes lit up as she lisented to her bestie speak.

"Ya Low I found him. He was hanging out in the alley a block away from my house." Belle chuckled as she walked towards her house. She rustled through her pocket until she found the key.

"Ah, okay then. Are we skipping tomorrow?" Low asked.

" No... Well you can but I can't. I need to show my face there or... Some bitch will try to take my place as queen." Belle seethed as she walked up the steps to her front door. She switched her phone to her left hand as she unlocked the door.

"Well, where you go I go. See you there I guess. Bye!" Low said reluctantly.

Belle shook her head and laughed. She stripped to her undergarments and got under her bed sheets. Before she closed her eyes she set an alarm for 5:30 and called J. up on her bed to sleep.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

Belle slammed her hand down on her clock and groaned, mostly because J. was laying across her chest and she could barely breath. She groaned again, this time J. huffed, depressingly, and got his lazy bottom up and of Belle.

"Damn it..." Belle muttered as she stubbed her toe on the chair in her room."Bitch!" She flips the chair the finger and walks to her dresser. She dug through all of her clothes to find a plaid off the shoulder crop top and a knee length matching skirt. She laid it on her bed and took a long warm shower before getting out. She debates with herself whether or not to straighten her hair. Her soft side wins and she leaves the straightening iron untouched. She puts her clothes on and finds her make up packet. Belle applies a thin layer of foundation, some eyeliner, mascara and black lipstick.

"Well, well, well... Lookin' good Crow.." Belle whorls around, to come face to face with Jesse James, her second in command. She cringed at her old nock name and slapped his shoulder.

"Key... NOW!" Belle fumed. Jesse looked at her, and groaned as he took a key out of his backpack and handed it to her.

"There, now let's go, or we'll be late." Jesse grabbed Belle's forearm and started to drag her outside. Belle glared at Jesse with deathly eyes. she smacked him away and sneered.

"That is NOT how to treat a woman, much less a QUEEN!" Belle pulled his head down backward, she licked his neck, leaving a trail of literal fire. Jesse shrieked and pointed his finger at his neck, where water appeared and put out the flames. He scowled and walked faster to school. Belle entered and sighed. She ruled that school, well most of the school. The previous queen still ruled half of it and Belle had the other. If you came to this school as a newbie you would quickly be claimed. The Silver Bow gang or the Crow Feather gang. It usually wasn't an easy pick. Belle walked off to her class when a Staff member approached her cautiously.

"Queen Belle Ruune Kanaenian you have been challenged by Tiffany Harper Black. Do you accept or decline? If this order is accepted by thy queen the challenge shall take place in the capital of DewWater, for every one shall need to see who the new Queen shall be." The teacher read from a formal letter and smiled at Belle.

"I accept..." Belle mumbled, when her teacher looked questioningly at her Belle spoke louder.

"I Accept!" Belle took the letter and burned her name into it. Marking that she was to take the challenge.

"My my madame. I wish you luck." The lady smiled again and bustled off, seemingly pleased with Belle's answer.

"Belle!" A short red head bobbed through the busy hall. Lola, Belle's best friend, came prancing to her side.

"Hey Low, what's up hun?" Belle eyes her momentarily and went back to reading and practicing fighting technices with her element powers and body.

"Nothing much... What about you my Queen?" Lola teased as she dodged an annoyed punch from Belle.

"Getting ready for my challenge later today, after lunch." Belle shrugged and continued throwing punches and fire balls at Lola and a punching bag. Lola stopped suddenly and got punched in the face by a guilty looking Belle. Lola was on the ground, the air leaving her body quickly.

"Sorry... I thought you were going to dodge that..." Belle rubbed the back of her head a chuckled nervously, as Lola just nodded and got up.

"It... is... fine..." Lola wheezed, catching her breath. They smiled at each other and walked back to their mathematics class.
