(A/N: this made me cry.. Enjoy~)
Roderich's POV:
I had a nightmare, it dates back on the WWII when the Holocaust happened: Sept. 1, 1939. It happened so suddenly.... Bombs everywhere, ruined buildings, a-and half the population of my people dying from starvation, being slaughtered or enslaved.....
I shakily got up and ran out of my now collapsed and ruined manor, to find someone so dear to me whilst muffling my voice to scream in pain- with gnawing at my cravat- and ignoring the bruises and broken bones and blood-ripped ends of my sleeves.
I.... took shakily steps along the borders, tears poured endlessly, eyes red and blotchy.. With my shaking voice, I shouted my husband's name, trying to find the source of the albino man....
"Gil?!!!!"
"Gilbert!"
"Mein Gott, Gil! Dont scare me like that!"
"Bitte..."
I looked around, desperate plee in my voice just to find him.. But then, I heard him... His voice void of pain...
"R-roddy?"
"G-gil?! Gilbert!!!"
I run to where he might be... And I saw him... Lying on the cold soil, clutching his brother's iron necklace along with the flag in his hand...
He looked broken.. His uniform is bloody, his silver hair- he's in pain, yet he still managed to smile back at me...
I kneeled down in front of him, holding his uninjured hand as more tears freely fall down my cheeks and unto his face....
"G...gil... W-who did this to y-you....? Mein... Gott..."
"Hey.. R-roddy..."
Amidst the pain, he brought up his hand to my face and caressed my cheek so lovingly.
"W-where's L-ludwig?..... G-gil....?"
"T-they... t-took m-mein b-bruder..."
I stared back at my husband in horror, seeing him cough blood.
I pulled him to my chest, gripping him tightly in my embrace.
Too utterly afraid that... that he might leave me... that... he might disappear...
I cant take it if that happened to him... I-I just cant... I cant bear to lose him.. Not again...
