Yumi was still close to the two, she was afraid that Takashi would jump on that girl and kill her at any moment. She had never seen the boy so angry in all his life, he was serious when said that he did not want to have a relationship with someone who was connected with him. The shouts of the discussion were scaring the customers away, she wanted to somehow try to stop that discussion, but didn't know where to start.
─ I SEND YOU TO GO! WHAT PART OF ''I DON'T WANT ANYTHING WITH YOU'' HASN'T ENTERED YOUR HEAD?
─ How can you say that?! We are connected! Do you know how many people would be jealous of that?
─ I DON' T MIND! AND FOR GOD'S LOVE, YOU'RE DATING!
─ My boyfriend and I had already discussed the matter, if someone found your other half, we would finish.
─ What a shitty relationship is this, huh! To the point where you don't even care about ending a relationship...
─ I love him, he knows it very well.
─ And yet you want to break up to be with a guy you met in a few minutes, pathetic! That's why I hate all this shit about destined partners.
Yumi looked at the woman he still didn't know the name of, she was pretty, was the type of Takashi ─ although he liked all kinds of women ─. She was wearing a full gray suit and a white shirt underneath, was probably going out or going somewhere; she wore black pointed heels that made her taller. Blue eyes and red hair that she noticed that it was dyed as the hair roots had a different color.
─ Look, if you didn't come to buy anything I'd like you to leave the store... You're scaring the customers away by having this kind of discussion ─ said firmly, she wanted to expel this woman, she didn't want to spend the day without any customers.
─ I'm not leaving until this matter is resolved!
─ What subject?! I've already told you that I don't want anything and much less will, I never want to see you again! Take your damn boyfriend, marry him, have kids with him!
─ How can you talk like that?! Tell me why! You won't even let me try to start something, we could approach little by little... who knows, maybe you'll look at this whole situation with different eyes.
─ I won't look at this situation differently, I can go out with you for several days, but nothing will change, I DON'T want any relationship, either with a random person or with my great true love ─ said the last part with a somewhat tone sarcastic. ─ The only thing I want is you away from me... now get out of here, we've already lost too many customers with your unbearable presence.
Yumi bit her bottom lip at that, she noticed how desperate and upset that woman was. Good heavens, that was so sad to see she didn't have an ounce of self-esteem. She was willing to move land and sea in order to be able to stay with Takashi even though he cared little for her presence. She already had a boyfriend who loved her, so what's the problem with staying with him? Even not wanting to assume, Yumi could understand, she would end up getting desperate too..., however, you see, she would have reason to do so, her string is all spoiled and if she found her intended pair would be a little out of orbit.
Yumi wonder if more people like Takashi existed out there, who openly refused not to want the relationship or even closeness, that was pretty sad but no one was forced to do anything much less because of a stupid thread. She sighed and saw the tears begin to pool in her beautiful blue eyes making her sad again.
─ I hope your life sucks and when you think about love i want you to fuck! You can bet a woman will never like a man like you!
─ GREAT! As if I cared about your opinion or any woman I've ever been with.
She left, leaving the two of them alone. Nobody said anything. As Takashi looked at the exit in which his so-called partner had left, Yumi looked for any trace of sadness in the boy, but was surprised when she saw that she only had anger and disgust.
─ Well, I didn't expect this one.
─ Fucking day! ─ complained returning to the cashier.
─ Look, I confess that I thought you would be more cruel.
─ I didn't want to make her cry or scream, we've already lost customers because of this little argument and I don't want to see the store getting hurt by stupid problems like that.
─ You know it's not a stupid problem...
─ For me it is, we've already talked about it and I don't want to talk anymore about this stupid subject. I swear if this woman comes back here after me again I will call the police!
─ If this woman comes back, it will be on account of the flowers... If she wants to stay here, spend her money on flowers to see you, great, but if she comes by wanders around the store, then you call the police. I don't know if after the last words she's really going to let you down or come back here.
─ If she is smart, she will never come back. Now let's get back to work, I want to forget about this conversation as soon as possible.
The rest of the day was calmer, however, unlike the other days, Takashi didn't hit on any girl or anything like that, Yumi was even surprised by his friend's behavior because of that since several beautiful girls entered the store he don used his flirtatious or seductive tone and it made her uncomfortable, but she understood that probably wasn't in a woman's mind after what had happened.
When they closed the store they didn't say anything, leaving the environment silent, Yumi didn't want to break that silence because she knew her friend was still stressed, all she wanted least was to get stressed, especially now that she was about to start her classes.
─ Well... your classes start tomorrow, right? ─ Takashi broke the silence by staring at Yumi.
─ Yes, actually, it started a while ago, but I'm not the type to go on the first day to become a target for veterans who want to play with newcomers by doing humiliating and shameful things.
─ It's a lot of fun when you're a man, as the jokes aren't hard to shake us, so you did well not to go. Especially coming from your college, which has a certain reputation for cruel pranks, I don't even want to imagine what they do nowadays.
─ So I'm relieved not to go, any more tips?
─ Don't confront the veterans, I know you're not the type to stay quiet and listen, but if possible try not to get into any fights.
─ I never get into fights! People who keep putting me in unpleasant situations, as if I was guilty of something or had done something wrong...
─ Yes, I know, you have already told me about several incidents. But I really hope that people at your college are mature enough not to do that, anything you give me names I'll solve myself ─ winked and stuck out her tongue making Yumi laugh at that.
─ Thank you, it will help a lot, I want to try to make friends, not enemies or even less to be isolated again.
─ You will make it, I know you will.
─ I wait, I'm scared to death and I haven't even set foot in college. I just don't want it to be like school.
─ Stop thinking about school, you won't live your nightmares again! Everything will be different and anything I'm here to help you.
─ I'm glad I have my private senior to help me with things at college!
─ If you need to, I even look for someone I know to protect you inside, I know so many people.
─ For now I don't want any bodyguards, I appreciate the offer! ─ smiled. ─ I know my words won't change anything... you'll end up talking to someone.
─ Of course I will, I don't want to see my little sister getting into trouble when I'm not around to help, your bodyguards will only show up if there's any conflict or fight, don't worry.
─ My denial won't do any good, so just keep them away from me... I don't want fake friends or people approaching me trying to make friends just because you asked them to.
─ I would never do that! I'm just going to ask them to keep an eye on you, your college has a bad reputation, I told you. I don't care if your course has the highest yield there, it doesn't change her image.
─ I think it's good.
─ Relax, I promise that none of them will talk to you, if any of them want to start talking to you I ask you to come here, what do you think? So in case someone from college starts talking, he won't be one of my bodyguards.
─ Hm, I liked that, so I accept the deal.
─ Great, then leave everything to me. Well, see you tomorrow at work! I want to know everything when you get to the store.
─ You can, good night, Takashi!
─ Good night! ─ waved and walked away leaving Yumi alone.
