A long time later, Jack regained consciousness. This time, although he still did not have a body, he could see certain things. In fact, he could only see two things. They were the images of two dying people.
He still couldn't move or do anything else except see the two people dying, slowly. One was a young man whose leg had been torn off and was being eaten by a wolf-like monster. The other was a woman about the same age as the man, however she had been impaled by a spear and was in the middle of a battlefield.
Jack had regained some of his humanity after that 'Man' had rebuilt him, without him knowing anything had happened in the first place.
He could not just sit there and watch them die. He tried everything he could, but he simply could not move.
Suddenly, a window popped up in his consciousness.
[You are the system little one. You can help them by working with them. Give them a system, and things will work out.]
Jack's eyes flashed when he heard this voice. He had an inexplicable feeling that the being that just told him this was too great to be spoken with, only to be revered. This was also odd since he was an atheist beck when he was alive.
Nonetheless Jack willed to give a system to each of them with all his might.
'Go!' he thought in his mind as two windows flew from his existence towards the two poor souls on the edge of death.
Mason, whose cut off leg was making him writhe in pain, suddenly stopped. He noticed a blue square hoovering above him. He was shocked it fist and tried to crawl away, but then realised that he was hiding in a small crevasse in a rock-cliff, and there was no space to move. The wolf monster was waiting for him outside and he could only stay in his current location.
Instead of worrying too much about what the floating square was, since he was going to die this day anyway, Mason tried to read what was written on the screen.

Do you wish to live?
==============
'Hmm?'
Mason was slightly stunned. It seemed he was hallucinating due to excessive blood loss or something.
'Why not indulge the hallucinations of a dying man' he thought as he reached out with his trembling right hand and clicked on 'Yes'. Suddenly, the window disappeared before appearing once again with new text on it.

Due to the inability of the host to survive through this experience, the System has loaned the skills 'Basic Healing Lv 2' and 'Basic Wind Bullet Lv 3' to the host. After a time period of 4 hours, all exp collected by the host thereafter will be transferred to the system without affecting your stats until the loan is repaid. The loaned skills will remain with the player.

Mason felt a rush of information flood his brain as he instantly understood how to use the skills the system gave him.
He was shocked out of his mind for a long time, but soon recovered and began to use Basic Healing Lv 2 on his leg.
Slowly, wound began to close up and the bleeding stopped.
Mason was thanking both the gods and the system for this miracle as he completely closed off the wound, and spent 1 mana on it.
To Jack, this was also miraculous. If things could have been healed like this back on Earth, so many people would have been saved. Not that it mattered now anyway.
Jack was also shocked at the appearance of these two new skills. The moment he gave out the two system screens, the ethereal voice spoke in his head once more.
[You have a shop. You can buy things from there in exchange for Core Points. You get core points, or CP by siphoning off exp from those under you who use the system. Remember, they can earn more exp for you when they are stronger.]
Jack then quickly went and opened the shop.
==============
CP shop
-Basic Healing Lv 2 (10 CP)
-Basic Wind Bullet Lv 3 (10 CP)
-Basic Judo Lv2 (10 CP)
==============
These were the only items in the shop which amounted to 10 CP each, approximately 100 exp for a player. He could also only take these three items on credit while the others had to be bought with up-front CP.
Jack knew that this was the Man's doing, and had no complaints for it. In fact, he was thankful. Seeing how highly priced the other items are, and how not a single of them had a credit function, it was clear that 'The Man' had helped him out.
While Mason was healing in the cave, another person received Jack's System.
Alice lay on her back, with a spear stabbed through her abdomen, rendering her ineffective for battle.
