This story is inspired by Chinese cultivation  BUT the culture, food, jewelry, clothes, aesthetic, and beliefs are inspired by Indian/Hindu culture. You can go check Mahabharata period or Ramayana period drama to understand this world more accurately. 

The setting of this world is a fantasy and historical Indian/Hindu world. I've mixed Chinese cultivation with Indian/Hindu "Tap" which is the same and different in many ways. 

I will eventually explain other things as the story progresses.
