Oliver cried into her arms like a lost puppy. "I-...".
Charlotte searched his pockets then threw a razor blade across the kitchen floor. She started to sniffle as her eyes teared up. "Babe, i-it...I did it when I found out...the child isn't mine.", Oliver sobbed. "Olly...it's still yours. It's just not...yours.", Charlotte whispered and kissed him.
"The stress made me feel like I'm wasn't worth it-",
"I don't want to hear you say that ever again, ok? You should know that you're worth everything I've ever known. I love you too much, I can't even utter the words to describe how grateful I am to have you. I need you more than I need air. If an angel came down and took you off the face of this earth, I'd kill myself to go up to heaven with you. You're amazing.", Charlotte claimed.
"I love you...".
Evie's room:
"So. Since Esma said to try journal writing, I'm giving it a try. Honestly, I don't really like her. Actually, I hate her. Darby clearly doesn't want her. He would rather have me instead. I asked to kiss him, but Clay interrupted. This mansion is crazy. No. The people in this mansion are crazy. There is so much drama here every single day. And I'm supposed to temporarily live here for as long as I chose.", Evie wrote in her journal. She sighed then tossed the journal on the floor.
-----------------------------------------------
Wednesday. Everyone quickly rushed downstairs to see their new chores but there was no envelope or note. Just Clay, walking down the staircase. "Adira. Make me a tea.", he ordered then sat down at the table as everyone stood, scattered around the room. "Uh-sir, where is the envelope...?", Evie asked.
"They should be coming in 30 minutes but...I've invited all of your closest family members just to pain and embarrass you all.", Clay snickered.
Esma dramatically screamed then ran upstairs, Evie slumped down on the floor, while groaning, Adira nearly dropped the tea, Darby hid his face in his hands, Axel also went upstairs, Charlotte has a flushed and shocked expression, frozen, just standing there, Oliver face palmed, and Tobias laughed with Clay.
"So for now you all should just linger around, and get ready. Because you guys are in for a hell of a ride.".
30 minutes passed. Everyone was gathered in the living room. "Who do you think will be the first person to knock...?", Evie asked. And with that-a knock! Clay opened the door and led a man and a woman to the living room.
Esma slouched down in her seat. They came running up to her. "Oh my gosh! My baby! I can't believe you're working for the king!", her mom exclaimed.
Soon or later everyone arrived but Adira's family. She sat on the counter in the kitchen, waiting for the people she hasn't seen in years. Axel came in the kitchen.
"What do you want...?", Adira sniffled, wiping away tears. He sat next to her. "What?!", she snapped.
"Adira...do you...have...a family...?", Axel asked. "I don't know anymore.", she sobbed then dove into his arms. "They'll never come, I just know it. I don't even think that they have a way of transportation to get here. They're poor. Why would they pay any attention to the spoiled brat of the family?", Adira cried. There was a knock at the door. She lifted her head up, in hope.
Axel and Adira peaked out of the kitchen and peered towards the doorway. When Clay opened the door it was a man with newspapers in his arms. It's the mailman. Adira speed-walked upstairs as Axel followed behind.
When he followed her upstairs to the hallway she shouted, "What?! You don't even care! I don't even care! So go have fun with your existing parents before you don't get the chance! Family matters more than some stupid non-existent love! And I'm being serious! Go spend every last second you can absorb with them because-you might never get to see them again! And when you lose something-you seem to care about it more so I say, get the fuck down there and go have a ball before your time runs out!".
They just stood there. "What are you waiting for?! Go! You'll be able to see me every day so, go see them while you have the chance!".
He grabbed her by the arm. "I will.", Axel whispered.
In the ballroom:
"Oh, heavens! Aha, no! I would never!", Clay laughed talking to some people. Axel walked up to him. "Uh-Master? Adira's family hasn't come yet. Can you kind of notify them or something...?", he asked. "That isn't my problem-",
"She's really upset.".
"Oh! So just three words can change my mind? You either go talk to her, get someone to talk to her, or tuff shit. Now leave me be. This is my chance to have a chat with a real parent, since I don't have any. Don't even try to tell me Charlotte and Oliver are some type of real parents because if you try I will have you beheaded by tomorrow.", Clay threatened.
"Mom, Dad, if you'll excuse me I have to go to the bathroom.", Axel told his parents then went up to Adira's room. He quietly knocked on her door.
"What are you doing here?! I told you to go-",
He cut her off by kissing her. "Shh.", Axel hushed then brushed her hair with his fingers.
"How am I supposed to just stay calm when something could've happened to them?!", she trembled.
"Just don't think about the bad things. That won't help at all.", Axel insisted.
"Well there isn't anything good to think about right now.", Adira whimpered.
She wiped away her tears. "Would you mind if I talked to your parents...?", Adira embarrassingly mumbled.
"Of course! Come on.".
Back downstairs.
"Oliver you're a great man, I'll tell you that much. Treat my daughter right, you hear me? Just make sure that you don't hit the baby from inside when you're in the bed.", Charlotte's dad pried.
"Dad!", Charlotte snapped. Oliver laughed.
"Oh, Char. I just wish your mother was here to see you right now. "James where's Charlotte?!" Leonore would say. She'd always tell me that you're the most beautiful flower she'd ever seen and look at you. You've blossomed into this beautiful woman.", James sighed.
"Thanks dad.".
Cloud Nine:
"Dean, no! Would you really believe him?!", Cordelia shouted. "No, but I believe a cheating whore when I see one! Now get the fuck out of my house! Both of you!", Dean ordered staring at Blade and Cordelia. "B-but Dean! I didn't do anything-",
He grabbed her by the cheeks. "Get. The fuck. Out of. My house.", he whispered. Blade pushed Dean away. "Fuck off.", Blade slurred.
Ryder walked down the staircase and stared at everyone. "Mom, dad? What's going on...?", he asked. Cordelia walked up to him and kneeled down. "I might be going away for a while. It's a vacation. I need one from all of this royal stuff-",
"You're leaving....stop lying, you're leaving!", Ryder cried out then ran back upstairs.
Cordelia fell down onto her knees and started to sob. Blade went over to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "Get the fuck off my wife and then both of you, out of my house.", Dean demanded.
"Fuck you! I didn't do shit! I didn't...! Please...I didn't.", Cordelia whimpered. "Get out!", Dean screamed. Blade flicked out a knife. "Well, if you're going to kill me Blade, I want to hear my cheating wife say who she cares about more. Me or you?", Dean pried.
Cordelia paused. "Ryder. I care about Ryder. You two can both eat shit for all I care, but whoever I decide will take care of my fucking son.". "Then who do you chose?!", Dean pressured. "I don't-I don't know...", she trembled.
"Wow! Just wow! You're choosing between your husband of 10 years and an asshole you barely even fucking know and you say I don't know-",
"I know him! I know him! I know him, ok?! I know him!", Cordelia kept repeating. "How?! I want to know how! How in the fucking world do you know this man enough to say I don't know between me and him?!".
"Because I had sex with him! Multiple times! While you were sitting on your ass doing nothing about our fucking money problem, I had sex with him! He was my only escape for reality when you went out of town, went to bars, and got drunk! I. Had. Sex with him!", Cordelia declared.
