Arthur had a look of disbelief upon hearing Sven's words and asked, "W-What way? How could I possibly even go against someone like my father? In fact, if I even remotely go against him, he will surely have me killed as well. I have already come to realize that he won't bat an eye at killing his own blood. Even when Soran died, he didn't even shed a tear."
Sven spoke in an even calmer voice as he said, "Listen…in the past, I had somehow come to learn that your father had been working on some questionable experiments which involved making someone quickly strong within a short period of time. Soran was probably the subject of such experiments. It only involved taking a pill, and I was able to snatch off the formula without him knowing. After that, since I am an alchemist myself, I modified the formula and added some of my own to make the pill more powerful."
