Hello this is Tommy Clovis, and this is how my life changed when I found a baby.
It all started when I was 12 Y.O(years old); like any other weekend my parents went out and I was at home sleeping in bed.
Near to midnight, they were driving home; when a truck suddenly hit them, the accident was bad and ambulances came rushing by.
Morning approached waking me up, my mom usually wakes me up to get ready to eat breakfast, I went to see if they were still asleep but no.
Going down stairs was no help either, the kitchen was empty too, usually mom cooks breakfast and dad reading the news.
I got worried when my parents weren't home and their car is gone, so I called their phones with no answer I then called my uncle he sounded tired and said he will be right over.
uncle Conner's P.O.V
I got a call late in the night saying that my brother was in an accident, so i rushed over as soon as possible and what I saw was devastating.
They were bother seriously injured from their whole bodys, rushing over to their sides and teared up at their conditions, I then felt both of their hands touch me.
(John) Please don't cry ..... you big... baby, please .... take care .... of our.... son.
(Quinn) make sure .... he's safe ... and eating right .... and not .... to eat so ... much sweets.
Speaking in their last breaths, please make sure he meets someone special, please don't say that your going to make it, in a desperate plea.
I was asked to leave now, I spent the night there till morning when my phone rang, it was from Tommy he was calling where his parents are and I told him that I'll be right there.
Driving in my truck I headed to the house and I opened the door to find Tommy to eating cereal and watching t.v.
Tommy I need to talk to you in the kitchen, Tommy went to the kitchen and put his bowl in the sink, (Tommy) what is it uncle Conner?
Tommy this is hard to say but your mom and dad had an accident and got hurt really really bad, (Tommy) Why? what happen, are they okay, sniffling.
Tommy from now on your going to live with me in the city, (Tommy) why? I have been a good boy, uncle Conner please tell me their coming back.
I'm so sorry Tommy they can't come back...
(Tommy) no!!! noo!!!!!! noooo!!!!!!!!!!!, I don't believe you, crying and ran to his room locking it and cried into his bed.
Tommy was in a lot of pain right now and I can understand what it feels like to go through that pain.
John and I went through the exactly the same thing that Tommy is going through, but unlike Tommy he had no older brother to help him get through the pain and loss of losing a parent.
Waiting until later in the afternoon I knocked on the door for him to let me in I heard a "click."
Buddy are you okay, he laid there, Tommy I promise I won't ever leave or abandon you please look at me.
You pinkie promise, he said under his pillow, yes I promise, extending my pinkie finger, and he did the same, we both locked pinkies and promising to always depend on each other.
Packing up all that Tommy needed while he said goodbye to his home caring a picture of his mommy and daddy in his hands tightly.
