Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

"Another meteor is falling. That shitty goddess is sending another hero, I see".

Looking through the window, an old and withered man sees a meteor falling far away in his rocking chair. Wearing a long grey and blue robe, His sleepy eyes and pale skin, as well as the long and thick white beard reaching his stomach, were talking for him about how old and wise the man is.

As he watched the meteor's fall, his eyes started glowing and became wet; his past started flashing in his head. All the battles he went through, the people he saw dying in front of him, and most of all, that beautiful feminine figure he was contemplating from behind, clad in a gold hue. The friend he could not save, the love he could not have, the one who ultimately sealed him here to save him.

"A fool who will die for nothing again. Even though I tried to warn them, even though I became the strongest to help them."

Blood droplets start gripping on the floor. His right fist was clenched so hard that he wounded himself.

"That bitch is really something else; the world will be destroyed just because of her stupid ego."

The gigantic tower he was in and even the surrounding forest's trees start shaking. His aura was that powerful.

"Well, at least, I will leave those behind in case a wandering soul ever makes it here."

With the look of a man who lost everything, he stared at the papers dispersed on his desk.

Suddenly, a crashing sound was heard, a bright reddish light flashed through the window.

"I do hope that someone will punch her in the face at least once. That should be a fine last wish to leave behind." While saying so, his head was nodding; bright happiness could have been felt on the man's face. "Ah, I can wait to see it; it will certainly be a fine m..."

His voice became gradually lower until it could not be heard anymore. He died. Through his beard, a joyful smile stayed on his rugged lips.
