'I guess this will be a lot more difficult than expected.' Soren commented to himself after putting his sword away and sat down with a ragged breath.
For the past five minutes, he tried to move and use his body as much as he could, just so he could get a bit used to the feeling of fighting on the ground, but he could tell that he was not going to be getting used to fighting on the ground, due to the fact that he had always fought underwater as a merman, so all of his tricks he had learned, would be severely limited or completely useless. Not only that, but the fact that he had to get used to breathing from his nose and mouth would also be another limiting factor that would affect his stamina, since he was used at having to using his gills and at most, he would feel some discomfort, dizziness or a fainting feeling, at most, but pushing his lungs already started to hurt him a bit on the sides and he felt like his chest was burning him.
That didn't mean that he lost all of his power though, since now he felt a lot faster, due to the lack of any resistance which was previously present, during his underwater battles, but that also came at the cost of losing control of his power at times, causing him to overextend his attacks and nearly making him lose his balance most of the time.
In the end, he knew that he should avoid prolonged fights and end his fights quickly, but he didn't know both of his allies and enemies levels, so as to get a good idea on their power level, making this plan extremely risky, but then again, whatever plan he thought of would be risky and Soren knew that pretty well.
Before he knew it, the five minutes passed quickly and both teams rose slowly and stared at each other.
"Hope you are ready guys and don't forget the rules." Fifteen explained seriously, before he started the countdown.

"1..."
"GO!"
At that moment, the blond man, Quarry and Soren quickly charged forward, with Quarry and the blond man locking each other with their greatsword and battleaxe respectively, while Soren decided to quickly charge at the cyan haired elf. The moment Soren got close to him though, the ground in front of him started to glow quickly and he quickly tried to roll to the right side, while hastily making a Mana Wall to try and protect him, but the explosion happened faster than expected and that caused him to get blown to the right and start rolling and falling to the ground. While he tried to get up and make sense of the events that happened, he noticed another part of the ground to glow, so he quickly made a thicker Mana Wall and tried to dodge the incoming explosion.
*boom* "Ugh..."
This time, he managed to mitigate the effects, while also managing to balance himself and stop himself from falling on to the ground. After that, he tried to get a good look of his surroundings and aside from Quarry and the blond man exchanging blows, he couldn't seem to find Hawkeye, the blue haired elf or the masked man. Unfortunately for him, it didn't take more than a few seconds for the same thing to happen again, but this time, he felt a grazing pain on his left arm and that caused his wall to be delayed by a second or so, causing him to get blown away, only now his arm was hurting him as well and the dirt on his cut didn't help on easing up on the wound.
After quickly getting up, this time Soren quickly activated his Third Eye and saw a decent a amount of mana was converging under him, so he quickly jumped away and managed to quickly escape the explosion, without getting hurt or blown away this time. After his dodge, he quickly tried to scout his surroundings and noticed that both Hawkeye and the cyan haired elf were slowly and silently moving around the grounds, but he still had no sights from the masked man. Another thing that had caught his attention were their weapons, those being a pair or curved knives, as well as a pair of cutlasses on Hawkeye's hip, while the cyan haired elf was holding on a crossbow and had a bolt loaded and aiming at him. It wasn't before long that the same song and dance with the explosions started happening once more, but Soren was slowly getting used to the tempo of the explosions.
Occasionally, he would get assaulted by a crossbow bolt that would try to get him on bad spot, but he didn't get caught in any serious situations, so he would mostly receive grazes or minor cuts, whenever those bolts appeared. Due to this though, he was feeling his breathing becoming a bit ragged and realized that he had to break this stalemate, otherwise he would be first to go out, due to his body slowing down from fatigue. After barely dodging another crossbow shot, an idea suddenly popped in his mind and decided to try and slow his speed slightly, know though that he was risking to get himself injured on purpose, should he fail on his plan.
As he was waiting for his opportunity act, he tried paying attention on his surroundings and aside from Hawkeye and the elf constantly moving around, he saw that Quarry and the blond man were exchanging some pretty powerful blows, mainly consisting of flames and strong gusts of air, but those two were pretty much on a stalemate as well.
It wasn't before long though that another crossbow bolt came at him, but this time, he was truly caught between a rock and hard place, since he really close to the wall and the angle of the shot that came at him, forced him to dodge towards the only direction where another mana blast was quickly charging up. But this was what he wanted in the first place, because the moment the explosion was going to happen, he quickly made a couple of thin Mana Walls on the bottom of his feet and quickly jumped at the same time.
*boom* "AArghh..."
This time, the explosion had injured his feet, causing them a lot of pain and give off a horrible burning sensation, but it also gave him the opportunity to perform his counter attack. His blade quickly glowed with a light blue light, before he brandished it as quickly as possible towards the blond man and then, his blade changed into a dark blue color, which then he slashed horizontally towards the invisible archer.
The moment those attacks went off, Quarry noticed the attack coming at the blond man, so quickly positioned himself in a way, of making it hard for him to get hit by the incoming Mana Cutter spell, while also limiting the dodging options of the blond man. As for Hawkeye, she had noticed that Soren was up to something, the moment he intentionally lowered his speed. so when she saw the incoming Water Cutter spell coming towards the elf, she quickly put her hand on the ground and quickly made the ground under the elf muddy and sticky.
As for the results of the attacks...
