"Matt, what the heck was that for? Why push me inside like that? Matt? Matt! Answer me!" Siren was trying to open the door, but it was somehow completely locked. It didn't take more than a couple of minutes before Soren gave up and decided to sit on a nearby chair. As he was sitting down, he saw that there was no one else at the office. He was expecting that Laventhign would be sitting on the chair behind that desk, with the air of a bossy CEO, and then would start her usual show and dance of her bossiness. In the end, he decided to silently wait for them to arrive.
As he was waiting for them, he decided to have a good look around the office. The office itself didn't look very fancy, since it had a desk, a few chairs, a table and a few bookcases at each side of the desk, but there weren't any fancy decorations, such as paintings or sculptures. The closest thing to a decoration would be a candelabra-looking thing and it barely could qualify as an actual decoration.
"Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream. Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream." Soren suddenly sang quietly, as he rocked his head left and right out of boredom.
"Where are they?" Soren asked himself with a bored expression after he stopped his song for a bit. Time slowly passed and without much else to do, Soren decided to grab a nearby book to read and it didn't take long before putting it back in its place.
'Just a whole bunch of names and numbers. I don't get why people have such books.' Soren thought to himself before grabbing a book with a bookmark.
'After Kylian and Janette expressed their love for each other, during that moonlit night, the two of them went into bed and eloped in the most heated fashion. Gushing sounds were being heard and moans of pure ecstasy were filling the room, as the two of them were deep into-' *slam*
"OK, let's just put that book back in its place." Soren quickly put that book away with a blushing expression and tried to calm heart a bit. Although he was still a teenager and a bit young for that, it wasn't like he hasn't seen or heard about the 'carnal deed'. It was the fact that this kind of stimulation was a little bit too strong for him, so it caused his face to become as red as a beet.
As time went on, Soren kept looking at more and more books and it wasn't before long that something abnormal happened.
*click* *swoosh*
One of the bookcases suddenly moved a bit forward and then to the side and behind the bookcase, a hidden passage had suddenly appeared.
'Damn, what have I done now? Is there was a way to close it?' Soren thought to himself, as he was trying to put the bookcase back to its place and hide the hidden passage. Unfortunately, for him, the bookcase couldn't move at all. It was as if someone glued it with the world's strongest glue, took all the air off the sides and then let stay like that for a couple of hours.
After futilely trying to put the bookcase back to its place, Soren gave up and sat down on a nearby chair to rest for a bit. As he was resting, he couldn't help but glance towards the passage, as he felt an itchy feeling inside of him. He was feeling quite curious about the passage and he felt like he wanted to explore it, but he decided to hold himself back and wait for the duo to come. Unfortunately for him, the more he tried to resist the urge to explore the passage, the more powerful that urge started to become and before long, the curiosity had finally got the better of him.
"Let's just check around quickly for a couple of minutes and then go back and wait." Soren said to himself with a serious expression, before entering into the passage. As he was slowly swimming through the passage, he got a look of its interior, but he had no comments about it, since it was just a hidden passage.
It didn't take more than ten minutes to reach the end of the passage and he was only met with a dead end. There were no writings, no hidden secret passages or anything else, just a long hallway that leads to nowhere.
"Wait a minute. How come there is a hidden hallway that takes longer to traverse, than the amount of time I need to walk around the temple?" Soren asked with a confused expression as he looked around and thought about the thing noticed right now.
"There weren't even any other turns. Just a long hallway..." Just as he said that, he suddenly felt a chill and decided to look behind him. Instead of a long hallway now, he was suddenly met with a short hallway that led to a wall.
"What the f*ck? Where did the hallway go? Where's the way out?" Soren looked around frantically as he was trying to push and punch the walls. To no avail though, no wall had budged at all.
"Dammit, what the h*ell am I supposed to do now? How do I get out?" Soren asked himself with a serious and nervous expression, as he was looking around. Before long, he noticed that there was something else different than before, more specifically, there was a hole on the ceiling.
"How did the hole appear out of nowhere?" He couldn't help but ask with a bewildered expression before adding with a slightly relieved expression:
"Well, as long as there is a way out, it's better than being locked somewhere without any way out."
Once he entered through the hole, a loud bang was suddenly heard from under him and the hole he had just entered through, had disappeared completely. Now, he was in a completely different hallway and one major difference he noticed, was the addition of black wall banners and unlit torches. The banners themselves also had a weird symbol engraved on them, which also looked like a throne being carried by seven balls.
"OK... I'm starting to doubt that this is Laventhign's office." Soren commented with a worried expression as he was looking around. He wondered what kind of person could make such a weird passage, but he decided to give up on solving that mystery, since it wouldn't help him get out of this situation. Since he had no other options available, he could only take a direction and swim down that way, until something different appears.
*shiver* 'Why is it so cold in here? I know this is underwater, but still, there would be some sort indicator that the temperature is dropping, like pipes that exert cold water, some sort of temperature filter or magic fluctuations, but I've felt nothing so far.' Soren thought to himself, as he tried to rub his body to heat up a bit.
It wasn't before long though for his thoughts to be interrupted by another voice:
"Hello."
