"Hehe... I win this round." A 12 year old child said energetically he got up and started doing a victory dance near the television where it displayed the victory screen for a videogame.
"Can we play anything else Soren? This is the twelfth match we have played and I'm starting to get tired of this game." The other 12 year old kid who was in the same room asked as he put down his controller on the ground and started stretching himself.
"I don't have many multiplayer games on my game station ------, but I don't mind putting some of my singleplayer games on." Soren answered as he stopped his weird victory dance and took the disk off the game station.
"Tomorrow you will be leaving from the city, right ------?" Soren asked slightly depressed as he was going through his pile of game cases and looking for another game to play.
"Yeah. Today will be the last day we will be able to hang around together. Also, in a week, you will be starting middle school, right Soren?" The boy asked with a slightly concerned expression.
"You don't need to remind me. I would rather to move away from the town, just like you, than having to go through another year in this place." Soren answered with an annoyed expression as he was lowering his head and sighing inwardly.
"Then why don't you do that in the first place?" The boy asked as he was crossing his hands.
"You already know why. Why do you have to keep asking me that question? My answer will never change." Soren answered angrily as he was rubbing his temples.
"Right. But still, shouldn't you try at least to live with your parents again or with any of your other relatives?" The boy asked as he sighed and got up to look through the pile of videogames with Soren.
"If I could, I would, trust me ------. But ever since that day, me and my parents have stopped having contact with each other, so it's not like I can just take a phone and then ask them: 'Hey, mom, dad, can I come back home and live with you again?', without either getting yelled off or just have the call hung up within 3 seconds. And I don't have any other relatives that I know of, except from uncle Bill and even then, he rarely comes at home, due to his work." Soren answered with a slightly depressed expression as he got up to do his imitation.
"I forgot that your uncle did a lot of work and he rarely ever came at home. I think we have met each other, maybe twice at most, so I'm not surprised with this. Anyways, when will you move out then?" The boy asked with a calm expression while sitting down and looking at Soren.
"Only when I either die, reach the age of 18 so I can be considered an adult or become a sea creature, preferably a dolphin, might I add." Soren explained as he counted with his fingers the conditions to move out of his house.
"Uhhh... Why are we talking about this topic, once again? Today is our last day together, so let's end it on a high note, without any of this depressing talk about my life ------." Soren answered as he shook his head and decided to grab one of the cases and took off the disk from inside it.
*sigh* "Honestly Soren, I sometimes wonder if there's anything that could actually take down your happy-go-lucky attitude." The other boy said to himself as he sighed and looked at Soren preparing the next game to play with before everything started to fade into white.

As Soren was dreaming of his happy memories, he suddenly felt a chill on his spine. At the time he wasn't aware, but there were three robed individuals that were surrounding both him and Lavenza who was fast asleep as well.
"We have found our target. Should we eliminate him or look for the thing first?" One of the three robed men asked quietly as he staring to take out a knife.
"Don't. One of our objectives hasn't been completed yet. We still need to know with whom he is." The second robed man answered in a similar way as the first robed man.
"We'll need an opportunity for him to be completely alone to finish this entire mission in one whole swoop. Otherwise, we might alert someone and the last thing we need are witnesses or other kinds of variables. Our target is weak, so he shouldn't put up much of a fight, but just in case, we have to cut out completely any outside interference. Now, for starters we need... " The second robed man continued and then started to explain his plan to the two robed men. As he was explaining his plan, the third robed man who hadn't even made a sound, kept staring at Soren with a thoughtful expression before the three of them left their room.
In the meantime, Rohan who was in his room while laying on his bed, said to himself:
"I guess I'll have to take precautions."

"Urghhh... Owowow... Hoo... My arm feels numb again. Did I sleep on it again?" Soren said with an annoyed expression on his face as he decided to strech it out while going a bit of morning gymnastics. As he was doing his workout, he saw that Lavenza wasn't in the room they were sleeping, but after looking around for a bit, he found her in the bathroom cleaning herself in the bathroom sink.
'When did she learn how to clean herself?' Soren thought to himself as he was secretly watching her through the door, but in the end he decided continue his gymnastics before going to clean himself. After finishing his gymnastics, he cleaned himself in the bathroom and went into the kitchen so he could have breakfast.
Contrast to the usual morning though, Rohan wasn't anywhere to be seen in the kitchen. After checking the kitchen, he decided to check the other rooms to see where Rohan was, but he was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't in his room, nor in Matt's room or any of the other rooms. After looking for a little while, he found a note that was stuck on the wall near the kitchen entrance.
'Soren,
In case you have woken up and I hadn't come back from my errands, you can use the ingredients in the fridge to make your own breakfast. I don't know when I'll actually return, but at the latest, I should return during night time.
Rohan
P.S. If you have anything to ask about the Sea Knights or anything about your training, just call commander Vandham on this number: XXX-XX-XXXXXX.'
*Sigh* "No wonder he wasn't in the house." Soren said to himself as he was scratching his head dejectedly and put the note away. After that, he decided to make the breakfast for the two of them. Although the majority of the ingredients were different from what he was used to use for breakfasts, he didn't have any problems making their breakfast for today.
As the two of them were eating their breakfast though, Soren kept staring at the window thoughtfully before saying silently to himself:
"I miss the old days." *sigh*
"Kyuu~?" Lavenza asked curiously as she heard the sigh from Soren's mouth.
"It's nothing. Just me thinking about something." Soren answered nervously as he was looking away and scratching his head.
