Seeing his new status, Soren felt rather rewarded for his efforts. He fought an opponent who was clearly stronger than him, he had less experience that his opponent and had to deal with moves he never heard off. Although he still felt quite a bit annoyed because the only reason he won, was thanks to the Overdrive Mode, so he didn't feel like he won with his own skills, he just won due to luck that's all.
'Do I really have to luck out in every situation that I'm in? The Undead Leviathan was due to the fact that I needed to land one hit that I won. For Rohan's test I lucked out again due to using an ability that I didn't even know it existed. The battle against my first ravaged wolf also was rather close, thanks the poor choices that I made by litterally playing extremely risky. For Crus and King Geius, he lucked out because they weren't looking for blood, so he didn't even have to fight them. And for Torque, he lucked out because of Overdrive Mode and Lumious, otherwise both him and Lavenza could have died there on the spot.' Soren thought about all of his with a slightly frustrated expression. He felt like he never won anything with his skills or wit, just pure luck and suicidal tactics. After dwelling with these thought for a bit, he decided that there was no point in thinking about it anymore, what mattered was what he would do in the future and that was to learn the way to fight. Of course, he would have to do that later, not now at least, because he had to deal with more pressing matters, such as completing his current mission.
Since he still had some time until tomorrow, he decided to lay down on the bed that he woke up before and decided to sort through all of the new abilities he saw during these past couple of days.
'System, can I have a look at Torque's status even though he is dead?' Soren asked the system and then Torque's status appeared. After seeing the new abilities, he asked for shorter descriptions instead of the full ones, but he wanted to check fully a couple of skills.

This wall of text gave Soren a rather nasty headache, but he still had to sort through all kinds of information for now.
'Next, show me Lumious' status and check his skills.' Soren ordered the system

'Uhhh... Just what did I expect from some of these stupid skills. The obvious and litteral meaning of their skill.' Soren felt disappointed and slightly tired by reading all of these abilities, but he still had to check on his own new skills.

Soren didn't bother this time to check the skills or titles with obvious effects or abilities, but he wanted to see the more peculiar ones. But now that he had a decent amount of knowledge about the abilities he saw, he figured that skills were under three categories, self-taught, inherited and innate skills. Self-Taught skills are as obvious as the name says, they are skills that are learned by the user by external means. Inherited skills are skills that are obtained from other skills or titles, like dual casting and double-edge. And innate skills are skills that people are born with, usually thise are skills that are done on instinct like the Spider's ability to shoot web or certain characteristics of the animals, like Horn Regen or Crystaliser which are abilities that Crystal Chargers are born with. But there was still a problem that was itching the back of his brain, so he decided to ask the system:
"Hmmm... System, may I ask why do I have an ability that I don't its requirements?"
[Be more elaborate.]
"Why do I have Double-Edge when I don't have Hunter in the Novice rank?" Soren asked seriously.
[It's been derived by your Survivor title.] After Soren saw that, he decided to check his Survivor title:
[Survivor: The owner of this title survived a Near-Death Experience, Skills derived: Double-Edge]
"Interesting, didn't know that titles could guve different skills, but I feel like it's such a big waste of a title." Soren said while holding his head. At this point, he was so tired from checking all of the information that he obtained that he had an actual headache, so he decided to rest early for the day.
As Soren was resting, Lavenza and Lumious went to the living room, where Leana was sitting all by herself while reading a book. As she was reading her book, she noticed the two kids and decided to ask without taking her eyes from her book:
"What were you two doing together?"
Lumious and Lavenza were slightly suprised from Leana's question, but Lumious responed back:
"Nothing much. We just hanged out, just the two of us."
"Hmmm... Alright, as long as you two haven't caused a mess in the house, then all is fine." Leana said casually before she left the living room and went to her room. After the noise of the door closing was heard, Lumious and Lavenza sighed at the same time with Lumious speaking with a relieved expression:
"I'm glad that my mom didn't notice anything. Anyways, don't forget what I told you Lavenza about that. Keep it hidden as much as you can for now, got it?"
"Kyuu~." Lavenza nodded in agreement.
"Alright then, now let's go find some of my picture books, because I have a lot fun stories to show you Lavenza." Lumious spoke excitedly before starting to rummage a bit through the shelves of their little library.
