"G-good morning Lady Crestess! Apologies for the disturbance... I have brought your breakfast. Where would you like me to place it?" a soft and timid voice rang, resonating around the once quiet room. Breaking Rho's previous train of thought.
Elena. That was her name. She was Rho's personal maid, always giving the impression as someone who was quiet and timid. Her hair was a shade of auburn that barely touched her shoulders, complemented with matching deep brown orbs that always seemed to avoid eye contact with others. She had a jumpy nature, seemingly always flustered at the smallest remarks made. Yet, she was by Rho's side to the end. Supporting and aiding her, finding Rho as someone sweet and gentle, just like everyone in this game.
"Elena! Good morning to you too, thank you for bringing my breakfast. No worries about the disturbance, I was just about to awaken from my slumber. Did you manage to get a good rest Elena?" Rho asked kindly as her eyes slightly softened. Elena was one of her favourite characters and she was glad to finally get to chat with her. To Rho, Elena was a rather well written character, she also played major parts in the game and was like a best friend to the protagonist. Elena was loyal and funny as well, Rho quite enjoyed the time where she would chat with Elena in the game and it would be no different now that she was here.
"O-oh yes i did have quite a good rest! Thank you for your concern Lady Crestess!"
"I'm glad to hear that, would you mind telling me the schedule for the day Elena?" Rho asked with a radiant smile as she chuckled slightly
"Of course Lady Crestess! In the morning, you will be having your ballroom dance lessons and after that will be your etiquette lesson, you will then have to meet with your parents as they have something that they would like to discuss and after that will be lunch. Then, you will have history and geography lessons. Lastly, the financial documents for the mansion will be sent to your room to be completed for the evening."
"Ah I see, thank you Elena" Rho replied with a grim smile on her face trying to keep her voice as gentle as possible. Gosh, they hardly showed Rho's life before the party started. Today was going to be an exhausting day.

"The floor looks rather comfortable as of now…. I would rather run 10 laps around the camp then do this again. When will the party come? I would rather not continue this toture." Rho grumbled as she looked at the floor, she could hardly feel her feet! Given she did use to dance in her previous life, ballroom dancing felt completely different to her. Thankfully, this body seemed rather accustomed to ballroom dancing as she let it take the lead. She did not have any major mess ups, although she did step on her instructor's foot from time to time. She remembered earning disapproving looks from her instructor, seeing her wrinkled face scrunch up in disappointment as she proceeded to correct Rho's missteps with a grumble under her breath. She had also just finished her etiquette class which thankfully wasn't as bad as she thought. Although her back was slightly hurting from sitting up straight for long periods of time, she understood that she had to eventually get used to it. After all, etiquette was the bare minimum of knowledge that would be required to function in high society.
She was now on her way to her parent's study. Her sky blue glass heels were clicking against the marble floor of their mansion as she walked with as much of a balance of speed and elegance she was able to master across the hallways. She had deduced moments before that this was going to be a conversation on her debut in high society. The very event that marked the start of the plot.
She deliberated on what she was planning to do when the plot started. Would she follow it and live a peaceful life with one of the male leads? Or would she change the story, put herself in front of multiple dangers and protect her favourite character, the villainess.
I'm sure you guessed her plans.
Chaos would be the way to go. A peaceful life simply sounded too boring to her. She was a woman who loved the thrill of adventure and unpredictable circumstances after all. But first, she needed to defend herself and she knew just what to do.
