Chapter 60 - My love for the prince

As I stood outside the door, sword in hand I kept an eye out for any assassins trying to make their way inside. I watched as one assassin stabbed a guard through the back as they tried to crawl up the stairs, they then looked at me and under the face covering that they wore, I could tell they had a shit-eating grin on their face as they charged me head-on. I did my best to block the blows, but since I'm not that much of an experienced combatant, it was sort of a struggle. Sure my father trained me on how to fight but it was mainly in case I had to make a quick get away from guards and push them back, not a full-on confrontation, that shit is meant for fighters.
