Chapter 52 - A bard's song brings joy

I spent the next hour or so walking back to Lady Nikolina's home, having already finished the apple I was given I had little else to do other than occasionally look up into the stars and realize, "wait...I have nowhere to stay for the night." which was a thought that only just now occurred to me as I was only a few feet away from the house. I shrugged it off for the moment as I could easily find a place to stay after I give Lady Nikolina the news. Heading over to the front entrance I barely knocked when a tall, rather attractive man with long blonde hair and a seemingly well-kept beard opened the door smiling as he was heading out, "Are you looking for the lady?" he asked, his voice deep but soft and welcoming, "I am?" "Ah, well she's likely still upstairs, careful with her though, she's been drinking a little too heavily this evening," he said before mounting his pure white horse, which I strangely did not see, and riding off into the distant horizon.
