The door flung opened."VELIR!" A thin silver light like a sword came crashing on them.Oleg pulled Nadiya behind him.Nadiya never saw someone turning into a fox.A thick fog appeared around them and she could see Oleg growing a long bushy tail.His ears of a fox.His face resemblance was more of a human than a fox.The bangs of his front hair dangled on his forehead temple making him look cute with his classic white shirt showing his bare chest a little.Nadiya was lost in his charmness.Oleg levitated himself in the air closing his eyes he raised his right hand up and dragged it down.Something exploded like bomb and smoke covered the whole area making it difficult to see anything around.There was a big hole in the wall and fire flared up in the room.Velir walked with his staff-it blazed with energy.He looked upward holding his staff high he summoned his demon soldiers to kill Oleg.
The sky thundered and thousands of shadows came out from nowhere now taking forms of dead bodies.
"Oleg,we need to do something hurry!",
Oleg started a blazing fire and pushed it towards the demons burning them to ashes.
He flicked his wrists and big rings of flames appeared moving into every direction it burned the demons.But they were numerous.
Velir pointed his crooked staff at Oleg and uttered an unknown language and his staff caught fire with brilliant light.Nadiya sensed the damage that could happen to Oleg,they got transported.
"Where did they go?? Velir roared in anger.
"Oleg are you alright?", Nadiya looked at his face stained due to smoke and fire and ashes,still looks so charming.She felt like to kiss him."I am ok.Where are we Nadiya?",Oleg asked lifting his head a little.Looking around he saw a neat and clean village with green grasses and tall trees.Cows pasturing at distance.He saw houses in one line.
"This is village Saffron.My uncle's village.He gave up all his rights as a vampire and started living a human life with his human wife in this quiet village.After my mother he is all I got as a family but he doesn't like to be in touch with me because I'm still a vampire.But I'm sure he'll never say no if I'll ever ask for help.Nadiya said thoughtfully.So they both reached Nadiya's uncle house which was small yet beautiful.
"Knock,knock!"
"I need to see my uncle,it's an imergency".The door was opend by a woman.
"Nadiya my girl! I miss you too often.But you know everything and I can't help myself.I vowed to myself I will stay away from any vampire and your still a....Nadiya nodded yes.
"Velir wants to marry me",she almost said in brittle voice.Uncle took a quick look at Oleg who was standing near the door and perhaps understood everything.
"He can take some rest now.He'll be good in no time".Meantime uncle's wife brought bowls of soup for them.She smiled at them friendly.
While Oleg took rest uncle took Nadiya outside to his backyard.
"Do you love this guy? Nadiya blushed pink at his question."Is he human?",he asked again.
"No uncle,he is a shapeshifter, a fox from which clan I don't know yet and a sorcerer too".
Uncle:Oh, interesting.So you need to finish Velir in case you want to be with Oleg,is that his name right!".
"Exactly!",she exclaimed.
