cheat /CHēt/ -act dishonestly or unfairly to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. a failure man named Ann has a trashy useless life. working as a mascot, he lives under his regrets and awful past. but, one midnight, when he was walking home, carrying his costume, he was attacked by his anxiety, remembering all his past mistakes. he screamed and asked God to take his life. tears streaming on his retired face. then a homeless man approached him, with a shabby coat and dirty smile, the man asked Ann if he believed in God and if he is willing to give up his life to the almighty in exchange for a happy life. then Ann, with teary eyes shouted, " I do! I will! just make me happy!" then the man smirked, "you're a cheater and I like it", "then your wish will be granted!", the man shouted as he stabs Ann on his heart. Ann realizing that he's dying, he asked the man, " who are you?" as all of his senses slowly fading, he slightly heard the man replied, "I'm now your— King,—and you're— my pawn. —I am the omnipotent Hades...." at that moment, Ann died. but he opened his eyes, confused and shocked, he thought he was dead but he is alive and breathing. he has about a million questions revolving around his mind. he was mesmerized by the feeling of dying, but he noticed something, the scent of cherry blossoms he adore when he was a child. as he slowly tilts his head, he saw the name of his elementary school. now he's more confused, he noticed another odd thing, his hands are small, his body and face. he is back to his 10-year-old self! realizing he has the chance to change his past, God truly granted him his wish. but what does the homeless man mean when he said "I'm now your— King,—and you're— my pawn. —I am the omnipotent Hades...." is this the best for Ann?
