She did not realize that she had fallen asleep on their short trip to Vegas. She did not even feel the plane landed, but she was awakened by a sweet kiss on her lips. She could get used to this, she thought, waking up in such a manner.
"You seemed to have a good sleep. What were you dreaming of?" Daniel uttered softly as he removed some tendrils of her hair that were covering her face.
He could stare at her face for hours and not get enough of it, he thought. Seeing her smiling while she was sleeping was a welcome relief. She must be truly recovering from all the trauma she went through. Her nightmares were barely occurring anymore.
He wished that in time, he would be able to help her removed all the burden she was carrying on her shoulders. There was one goal he was aiming for, that was, to make her happy as long as she would allow him.
"Are you ready?" The question was not only about going down the plane but more, about what they were about to do.
