He still felt like he was on cloud nine as he held Scarlet's hands in his. He was afraid that she might not be ready for his proposal but was relieved when she finally said yes. This was the happiest day of his life. Gave her a reason to live again. Loved her unconditionally.
"For what?" She asked him, wondering why he said that. She had done nothing that he would not do for her. If there was someone who should be thankful, it was her. He was the one who brought her back to life. Gave it a new meaning.
The night certainly ended with a bang with Daniel's proposal. She was not expecting it to happen tonight, but she knew it would happen eventually. When he did ask her the question, she knew then automatically what she wanted. It was liked it just clicked in her mind.
