The crowd surrounding them and the loud music in the background were not exactly conducive for them to have a serious conversation. They decided to transfer to a deserted part of the ballroom on the far end where they could talk without disruption.
When they were finally alone, Scarlet faced her and held her hand. She was not sure how she would react to her action, but she did not care. She just wanted to make her feel that she was sincere in what she was about to do.
"I want to say sorry for turning my back on our friendship. You are never at fault for what happened between me and Nathan. And I should not have taken it out on you." She spoke softly to her, hoping that she would accept her apology.
She remembered almost losing Mia's friendship and she did not want that to happen to them. If there was a way to fix their problem, she was going to try to find it.
