He brought her to a nursery ward. Several babies lined up on the other side of the window. No wonder they thought they were a cute couple. They probably assumed that she and Daniel were visiting their newly born baby.
"Why did you bring me here?" She asked him as they stood just outside the window, gazing at some of the babies that were visible by the window.
"I know that babies have this calming effect on people. I could sense that you needed one." He stated as he kept his hands on her shoulders.
"Wait here." He moved towards the nurse station leaving her to stare at the view in front of her. He was right about one thing. She did feel a sense of happiness upon seeing the cute chubby babies in front of her. Someday, she wanted one, she thought to herself.
When he came back, he tapped on the window and plastered a piece of paper flat transparent surface. The nurse on the other side of the glass looked at them and smiled. She signaled to wait.
