He offered to get me a hotel room where he was staying tonight when I told him that I forgot to book a room since it was not in my plan to stay overnight in this town.
"I don't that would be any trouble. I could stay in the bus station for the next trip." Looking at the time, I already predicted that I would be waiting at the station until the daybreak for the first bus to depart.
"No. It's no trouble at all. I insist. I don't think I could allow you to be alone in a station at this late of the night." His face was full of concern that it was not hard to believe that his offer was genuine.
I guessed that was better than staying at the station, so I agreed. It was too late to catch a bus back home anyways, and I still planned to visit Mia before I went back. She decided to stay and leave early instead.
Unluckily, there was a conference scheduled for three days in the hotel. All rooms were fully booked. That left them with only one choice.
