"Aaahhh…" She woke up screaming at the top of her lungs. This was the first time she had a bad dream since she moved into this apartment a year ago. Well, at least her other dreams were not this bad that she felt like she could hardly breathe.
The last thought that she could remember from the dream was a man chasing her. She could not see his face, but she could sense that he was not up to no good. The way his eyes blazed on the shadow as she gazed into them gave her a fright that chilled her to the bones.
There was so much hatred in them. She did not understand why it was directed at her when she could not think of anyone she had mistreated. She had no enemies she could think of. But, then again, it was just a dream. It could just be another random idea that her brain conjured because of last night's incident.
