I finally woke up, and we got on the road again. I don't think think the timer went down.
For ten minutes we walked in silence before nick stops in front of Hubris Comics, and asked me the dreaded question.
"How do you know so much about those alien soldiers and their beasts anyways?"
I can't lie he's a detective, and I suck at lying.
I simply flick a switch and my pip-boy is the Hydra now.
He stops.
"This is the Hydra it can create, destroy and reshape universes starting all with the atoms, it can destroy everything fictional as those worlds are also real, Hydrona which apparently are an ancient ancestor of mine have died out and it can only be used by me and the guy in charge of the soldiers we fought. If I die, it's his and the worlds go bye bye! I been slaying camps by myself and have yet to figure out how to kill the mothership, because I'm reason hundreds die trying to fight them off because I was a coward in the beginning," I explain sitting down. My head down with shame and guilt.
He sits there for a few minutes, thinking really hard.
"That's a lot to handle yourself, you might need an army of your own," Nick responds.
"No, I can't put anyone else at risk, and by this interaction you'll be on thier hit list too," I sat shaking my head.
"And I say this is my goddamn home your talking about, that and no cases besides this one have been reported since they've shown up the last three months, it's a dry trail of nothing and I'm tired of sitting around, why the fuck not?" Kora begins trotting along the path as the pack beasts began to move, me on one begrudgingly.
At least I'm not alone now.
