A bit before the train ride
Ashido was packing his things and checks if he got everything. He then goes to the toilet to brush his hair. As he grabs the hair brush, a person can be seen behind him but when Ahido appears, the person is gone. When Ahido got finished, he went outside to reach the train.
Present time
As Markos sat down at his seat, Sofia sitting next to him, and Jin, Chris, Kaori and Akira are near by all of them. Ashido arrived and sat near them.
"Hey guys. Sorry for the late arrival." says Ashido in his usual comedic tone.
"Its alright dude, calm down." says Markos.
"Just sit down." says Jin. As Ashido sat down, there are a few things he wants to talk about with everyone else, but he knew that Ashido will sleep during the ride or listen to music, so they won't have to worry about Ashido finding out. As the train began to start, Markos noticed Ashido grabbing his head phones and begins to listen to music.
"Alright, so we have to talk. About the recent stuff." says Markos. Sofia and Jin knew immediately, so did Kaori, Chris and Akira.
"Tom warned us about it." says Akira.
"What did you guys fight against?" Kaori asks.
"Not sure, it was just a bunch of monsters." Jin states.
"They seemed to have known about it all." says Sofia as she remembers how Tom and Aita acted.
"They most likely don't want us involved yet." Markos states, he knows that considering how early it is for all of them to do this, if they finished high school it would have been better, but this is too early, though they still aren't strong enough, as Markos placed his right hand on his head, remembering just how strong that attack was.
"It does make sense." Chris says "Will we be able to train?"
"That depends. Considering how his dimension works, we should be able to, and if that isn't an option, we should still be able to train here." Sofia states. Markos at some point decided to look at the window and saw a little girl who caught his attention. The girl was just walking around casually but her face says that anyone would die from it, she had so much blood coming out of her face and her brain was exposed, there was even a hole in her eye, which would kill anyone. Markos shocked this blinked for a second and the girl was gone, which caused confusion, he had so many racing thoughts, is it another demon, is this girl trying to scare him with some make up, or was it real? He doesn't know.
"Excuse me, I need to go wash my face." says Markos, standing up to go to the toilet. When Markos got there, he just put some water on his eyes to wake up a bit. After some time, everyone arrived at the station, then later on they got to the bus and arrived at the hotel. As the bus drove through the resort, the students were meet with a beautiful crystal lake sea that was accompanied by a clean beach full of rich sand with no trash in sight. The beach houses were big and fancy with rich green grass surrounding them with fake fern trees scattered about.
"Wow, this is beautiful!" says Akira excitedly.
"I know right!" Sofia agrees, as both girls just look in awe at how beautiful the Hotel is. As they got off the bus and got at the entrance, the teacher began an announcement.
"Now students, we will be splitting you all into groups of three. You see this basket? In this basket there are pieces of paper, three with the same symbol, when you got the same symbol, go to the group. Now get ready." says the teacher as all the students grabbed the piece of paper in the basket. Markos grabbed his and it revealed a White Rose, he searched around for some other people, but when some made eye contact with him, they stepped away, not wanting to be associated with someone like Markos. After sometime, Markos found Sofia, and she also has a White Rose.
"Thankfully we are at the same place..." says Sofia, and both her and Markos smile, happy to be with each other. Then they noticed Kenji, who also has a White Rose, Markos and Kenji tried to not stir up a fight, they weren't in the appropriate place to do so.
"I hope you actually mature and don't start a scene like that ever again." says Markos and Sofia knew exactly what he was referring to.
"You better not get in my way, you know that guy deserved it." says Kenji in cruel words.
"Great, it seems like everyone is well organized. Now off you go." says the teacher as all the students left. Markos was concerned with his other friends, but was relieved to notice Kaori and Chris were at the same room, and the same with Jin, Akira and Ashido, though he isn't sure how the guy with Kaori and Chris will act around them. As the trio of Markos, Kenji and Sofia entered their room and were immediately greeted by a beautiful view of the beach and the landscape, they began to organize everything.
"So this is it." says Markos.
"Nobody's talking to you, shut up." says Kenji.
"Why you..." Markos is ready to fight.
"Stop it you two!" says Sofia.
"I'll just be walking for now." says Markos as he just places his bags on the side and leaves the room. He walks outside of the hotel, through the back entrance. Markos starts to checks out the sightings and everything, so much is happening which makes the place feel alive, ranging from the surfers surfing at the seas to the people playing volleyball. Markos spots Chris on a clif, she is testing a new Compound Bow she got. Markos decided to go up to her and talk "Hey Chris."
"Hey there Markos." Chris replies.
"How did you get it in the train?" Markos asks pointing at the bow Chris is using. He didn't have to ask Chris how and where she got it, he knew that her father forced her to have one.
"You know how we train at Tom's place? I was able to train to where I can conjure charms that protect my case. As you said, since we had attacks, we need to train so that we can get stronger." Chris states.
"Better be careful if that is the case, because we don't want the teachers to find out you have a weapon in the school trip." Markos states with concern.
"Don't worry, I'll find a way. I always do." Chris states reassuring Markos "I plan to hide it where no one would think to look for, make a defensive barrier around it and make it close by depending where we are."
"Make sure someone is close by to make sure you can get the bow whilst we are about to fight." Markos states.
"I know." Chris replies "I already planned for that."
"Wanna walk around a little? Better to hide the bow somewhere so nobody will find out about it." Markos states.
"Yeah you're right. I'll be back if that is the case." Chris states and goes to her room to put the bow away. As Chris was leaving, Markos just looks at the beautiful sight ahead of the beach, like the sunrising. At some point, he decided to do some skipping stones, mostly getting about 2 skips, which is moderate and he tries to get better at it. As Markos tries to do his throw that got him a third skip.
"Hey Markos." Markos heard someone talk behind him which startled him and got him out of the moment. When he looked behind him, it was Sofia.
"Oh hey Sofia." Markos replies, trying to recover from the startle that he got. He then noticed a cut on Sofia's leg "Hey Sofia, where did you get that cut?"
"Oh I fell some stairs." Sofia laughs it off embarrassingly, this got Markos shocked.
"What?! You seriously need to pay attention more to what you're doing!" Markos states, full on out of concern.
"I know. I just can't help but space out sometimes." Sofia replies.
"I'm back. Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Both Markos and Sofia look at the direction where the voice came from and it was Chris, back from placing her bow back.
"Will you be able to get it back?" Markos asks.
"Considering we have plenty of time, we should be able to walk around a little and then the visit to the museum will begin." Chris states. As the three of them were about to walk, Markos notices Kaori bumping into someone by accident. Markos was on guard, he knew what might be coming next, considering the person was white and Kaori was black. He hates seeing Kaori like this, he does his best to help Kaori. To Markos' surprise, there was no fighting occurring, the someone just apologized and left, which shocked both of them.
"Hey, I'll be right back." Markos states to Sofia and Chris and goes up to Kaori to make sure he is okay "Are you alright dude?" Markos asks as he arrived next to Kaori.
"Yes. Nothing happened just to let you know. He was actually chill and looked at me as if I am a person... not based on my appearance..." Kaori says, Markos is happy for his friend, this is not something he sees common. Kaori on the other hand is happy to know that there are more and more people beyond his friends that look at him for who he is, not just on the surface. After some time has passed, the trip was 10 minutes away from beginning, so Akira needed to help Chris get her bow, arrows and quiver, and place a quick spell on the case again so that nobody will notice and Markos went back to grab a basic drawing kit, which contained a medium sized drawing book and a pencil, not a lot. After 10 minutes have passed, everyone was ready, though Markos was shocked when Jin didn't have his wooden sword.
"Nicely done everyone, glad you all are ready." says the teacher "Now time for the trip to begin."
