Evren sat on the deck of the ship, watching the rolling sea as he whittled on a piece of wood. He had been working on the same piece of wood for the two weeks he'd been traveling so far. He'd told everyone who asked what he was making, but each time he was asked, he said it was something else. In actuality, Evren wasn't making anything, he was just wasting time as he cut away at the wood. He'd heard about a quote from a master sculptor that said he just took away the parts that weren't part of the finished project. He figured that the finished product was probably a toothpick, so he just kept whittling away.
