Evren had decided to move at night against the merchants. There were three to be taken down, and they were closely monitored. Evren didn't want to kill the merchants, although they deserved it, he wanted to set an example with them, but it was something he could only do after he had replaced the mayor.
He spent the last couple of days before he started looking for a place that he could hide the merchants where they wouldn't be found, and ultimately, he decided to move them to an abandoned hunting shack south of the city. The merchants had two or three people that would be grabbed up with them, but he had to do everything all at once, and he had to get them out of the city unnoticed.
