Evren and Dayzze were heading south of Apotoyuca. Dayzze had gotten the others started on practicing telepathy so they would have something to work on while Evren was gone. As Evren ran south, he was working on space magic. Specifically, he was trying to pinch the space in front of him. If he could do it, he would be able to teleport short distances. Currently he was only able to pull himself a little bit forward, making him the distance he travels just a little bit shorter.
Currently, the amount of distance saved is lost as the magic used costs a considerable amount of energy. 'Don't pinch a point, pinch the whole space in front of you.' Dayzze said.
'What do you mean? A space as big as me?' Evren thought back.
'Yes, you want all of you to move, not just your waist.' Dayzze said.
Evren tried it and upon completion, he said, 'Yeah, that feels better, but it uses a heck of a lot more magic. I've got a headache now.'
