"No, if anyone shows up at the gate, inform me first and keep them out of sight." Captain Scott said to the guards at the gate. He walked into the guardhouse and sat down at the chair of his desk. He sighed deeply thinking the one shot of hope he had disappeared as quickly as it arrived. He'd spent the last week keeping an eye out for the elusive man but could find neither hide nor hair of him. As he was about to begin his morning report, a hand covered his mouth and a voice whispered into his ear "Shhhhh."
He looked to the side where the voice was, and the man who had visited him previously a week ago was standing there behind him. He walked around to the front of the desk and sat on the edge, looking at Captain Scott. The man said, "Who do you think would make a great replacement for the mayor of this town?"
Captain Scott stared at Evren with his mouth open in surprise in a low voice he said, "I thought you had left. Where'd you go?"
