Remember when I said that Bianca and Dmitri will get along. Well to my surprise, they actually did.
I remember leaving them in the kitchen for a couple of minutes to go to the bathroom, and when I came back I found them both laughing at something.
When I asked what they were laughing at, they just both shrugged and looked at each other mischievously.
Now that I think about it, I'm definitely certain they were talking about me.
I'm back at work today, and things are going slow. I still haven't bumped into Mark, which I'm glad.
Oh, did I mention that Bianca moved back in with Jason.
They're actually getting married. I remember the day he proposed at the hospital in front of everyone as if it was yesterday.
I was checking up on a patient I had just performed surgery on, when I got a call from Kelly, the receptionist.
"Elaine, you need to get on the fourth floor right now."
"What? Why?" I asked
"Something's going down and it involves your friend"
I let out a sigh. "What did she do now?"
"You need to get here and see for yourself" was all she said and dropped the call.
I quickly take the elevator to the fourth floor. I walk through the halls, looking for Bianca.
I spot her surrounded by other doctors and other people in the waiting area.
She stood there with her hands covering her mouth and tears flowing down her face.
I go stand beside her and place my hand on her shoulder before asking if she was okay. She gave me a weak nod and pointed her finger in front of her.
I slowly turned my head to see what she was pointing at and saw Jason there on one knee, holding a velvet box. He slowly opened the box to reveal a beautiful sparkly diamond ring.
"Bianca, I know I've been acting weird lately and you have every right to be mad at me but I'm sorry. Our last argument left me broken and hurt and at that moment I realised that I can't live without you. These last couple of days have been hard for. I'm sorry for hurting you. I said things to you that I didn't mean and I'll always regret that. I love you so much that it hurts. And I'll spend the rest of my life showing you what I mean. That's if you let... Even if you don't, I'll always try to find a way to do so..."
"Oh my gosh, just ask her already!" I yelled, getting impatient. This whole speech had managed to bring tears in my eyes.
He nervously chuckles. "So will you do me the honour of being my wife and making me the happiest man? Will you marry me?"
Bianca just stood there frozen, not saying a word. The smile on Jason's face slowly began to fade away. Seeing this I quickly yelled out for her.
"OF COURSE, SHE WILL. ITS A YES!" and pushed Bianca to him.
Bianca just weakly nodded and wrapped her shaking arms around his neck.
Everyone began to clap and congratulate them. I quickly ran up to them both and gave them a hug
(End of flashback)
Just thinking about that day brings a smile on my face. I'm happy for Bianca.
She got what she wanted, she always dreamt Jason proposing to her in front of everyone in the hospital.
I still had a chat with Jason, that consisted with me mostly cussing at him for hurting my beloved Bee. I kneed him in the nuts and pointed out that if he ever did that again he would lose his baby making machine.
I go to my office and begin going through some paperwork.
45 minutes later, I hear a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yell to the person on the other side.
"Doctor, someone's here to see you" a nurse says to me when she enters my office
"Okay, let him or her in."
"Yes, doctor"
A few seconds later, a woman with blonde hair and dark brown eyes, dressed in a really tight red dress steps in.
"Good morning" I greet her.
"Morning" she replied timidly
"Take a seat" I motion to the chair in front of her on the other side of my desk.
She takes cautious steps and slowly seats down, with her head lowered to the ground. I take the time to study her.
I notice her hands are slightly trembling and when she looks up, I see the bruise on her left eye that she tried to cover with make-up.
"Is there anything I can help you with, mam?"
"Yes, I came to visit Alexander Martinez today, a patient of yours, but found out that he's been discharged... Do you know where he's been taken?"
"Yes that's true, but I don't know where he is and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to disclose that to you..."
"Oh" she says, sounding disappointed and gets up, ready to leave
"Who are you to him, if I may ask?" I ask her and watch as she tries to come up with a lie. She opens and closes her mouth, not knowing what to say.
Her phone then starts to ring and she looks at the caller ID and let's out a shaky breath.
"Are you okay?"
"I- I have t- to go" she stutters.
"Wait!" I yell but she's already out the door.

When my shift ended, I was so relieved and ready to go home.
As I was walking out the hospital, I thought of all the things I would do when I get home.
'I can't wait to get in the tub and soak myself in warm water and sip champagne while I'm at it'
I let out a sigh just thinking about it.
"Doctor Anderson!" Someone screams behind me.
Shit, I know that voice
I quicken my pace and try get away from the person calling me.
"Doctor Anderson!"
Ugh, he sounds closer than he was.
I yelp when I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Doctor, we need to talk"
I slowly turn around to face him, with a fake smile on my face.
"Mark!"
