Chapter 28 - Food in the garden

~~~~~
I walked with Miku till we reached the school cafeteria; it had bright fluorescent lights strips running across the ceiling, and large counters, while the hall itself wasn't much crowded.
The usual setting of a boarding school was nowhere to be seen, as the tables were rounded, and the surprisingly comfortable chairs weren't made of wood.
Driving my gaze around, I thought for a split second that I walked into a luxurious library; just the space stillness was enough for me to know what kind of area is this.
Then, I smelled the flavorful lasagna gently put on a plate, as empty dishes clattered and clinged in the kitchen.
I took another deep whiff, "And steak?"
'Wait, steak and lasagna at the same time? Weren't usually schools have a fixed menu of the day?' I wondered.
Hence, Miku caught glimpses of my troubled face and chimed, "the academy works like a restaurant; you can ask the chef to cook you whatever you desire, as long as it's in the catalog,"
"I see," My face was rigorous, yet my tongue didn't agree with such gesture.
'I had to starve for days back in the village, so this looks like heaven right now,'
We sat down, ordered some food, and waited.
Likewise, the same thing occurred this time, too; gazes started to lend on Miku like she was some kind of an alien.
Slowly, the hall turned slightly more grumbly, and people blanked in our direction.
Which caused my earlier good mood to wane. 'Goddammit, how could this turn into a zoo each time,'
To be frank, I couldn't blame them; Miku was more glamorous than a blue lily, especially after the bright lights landed on her pale skin.
My fingers subconsciously tapped on the table while my face was sterner than stone.
Miku was used to the stares but not a maniacal boy fuming with resentment beside her.
Once the two plates have been prepared, she hastily stood, as she said, "T.. there are some outer seats in the garden,"
"And?" Of course, I knew what she implied, but I liked to hear complete answers; I never forced anything; I want her to understand that any action she enacted was coming from her absolute approval.
"I want to breathe some fresh air," she uttered. And my eyes were still unmoved.
she pursed her lips and added, "I want you to come with me,"
"And?"
"..." Miku didn't know what to say anymore; her mouth twitched to find a response, but there was nothing to be said after that.
I grinned, almost laughing, and stretched my hands, getting up, "Then, let's go,"
My face met her smile, and she smiled even more; I never saw someone that sought fulfillment through squashing someone's bother, but I guess that's a point added to her.
We trekked to an empty garden; the frigid tables and seats were made of marble.
'nobody would want to sit outside in this coldness.' my back was shivering.
I put the plate at one of the tables and said, "Well, the weather is a bit chilly, isn't it? and since it was your suggestion to come here, how about feeding m...." before I can complete my sentence, I felt a hand lightly seal my jaws, right after that, a fork with a juicy piece of meat entered my mouth, as I heard her say, "I know,"
She knew what I wanted to assert before I can announce it. Hence, my dialogue broke and shortened till eventually reaching a lull.
I have been feed before by my grandma, but not in such a place or by the hands of a flowery girl. I felt like an imperial Prince getting spoiled by his concubine, precisely after I saw her elegant way of cutting the meat piece, as she blew her warm breath on it, bringing it in front of my mouth, while her face didn't show much emotions.
It was my idea in the first place, and I did not think she will comply with it this easily; however, my eyes only focused on hers, and I let her do whatever she wanted.
Seconds ticked by, the plate now was half empty, and the girl was blushing ferociously as she almost couldn't breathe anymore.
I had an evil antagonistic idea of replacing the fork with her own mouth in the middle of the garden, but I was sure that there weren't any cameras in the grassland, and besides, we were sheltered by a rooftop.
Obediently, she did what I confided and said what I wanted to hear.
And in a minute, food moved from her mouth toward my throat; I had a wish to stay inside her mouth for a lifetime; I never thought a mouth could smell this blissfully; it was a mix of jasmine, breakfast waffles, and musk scents stacked in one place.
Then, there's always an intruder that spoils my fun, especially in the sweetest moments.
Three girls holding books in their hands decided to come to the garden; I spotted them from the back and quickly removed the girl's face, chiming, "I'm full now,"
Getting up, I pulled Miku from her seat and put the plastic plates in a drawer under the table.
"You did well, but I need to go now; see ya on another occasion,"
I needed to study the subjects of the next day and prepare well so that I won't
embarrass myself.
So, I left Miku to walk back to her branch; I did not pay attention to her complexion, but I can tell she was close to being drunk; she probably will take triple the time she usually takes to walk one step.
Yet, what I didn't know, was that she was beyond happy at this time, especially when she heard my last word.
"Occasion."
Was it because of her state or a miss understatement? She captured it as a "date,"
She walked away thinking that we had our first date in a beautiful garden.
Young people become dumb when they're in love, don't they?
I had no idea about such a thing, and perhaps I would not have cared.
Wiping my mouth, I went straight to the apartment, fixed my luggage, and immediately started to study.
Still, my misfortune landed me another challenge; after all, Fatty Taro had a problem, a really big problem.
He suffers from permanent flatulence, a disease that causes continuous farting; the Appartement becomes a rocket base, and my nose sustained the most casualty.
