Chapter 6 - Unexpected meeting

22.00 o'clock ~

Now that class was finally over, it was time to go back and sleep.

Uh ... but was there a garuantee that when she got home, she could sleep right away?

Sigh!!

Of course not, Celine was a very stupid woman! it would not be enough for her to just repeat the lesson her lecturer gave her. She needed to redo it until she get to the bottom of the topic, hemph.

"How am I going home?" Celine asked herself. She forgot to tell her father to pick her up after class. This was indeed one of the diseases inherent in Celine's family, namely acute forgetfulness. Hopefully one day Celine will not forget how her life was going. Ha ha ha.

'If I contact papa now, it's going to be a long wait before papa can come here. I still got 45 minutes,' she thought.

"Celine ..., you are still here? Where's your bike?" asked Cindy, you could say she had become Celine's best friend, even though they had just met and were merely acquaintances.

"Emph ... my bike broke down and I left it at work," Celine replied frowning.

"Then, is your papa going to pick you up?"

Celine shook her head slowly. "I forgot to call papa earlier."

"Oh my God Celine, then how will you get home now?"

Once again Celine shook her head. "I'm already very confused, why do you still have so many questions for me?"

"Is that so?" Cindy repeated. "Where did you learn talking like that?"

'This is bad! Why did I follow that guy's stupid words? It seems that that man's influence was too much on my concentration,' Celine said to herself.

"Eh Celine, my boyfriend has come to pick me up. Then what about you?" Cindy asked again, interrupting her inner monologue.

"It's okay, just go. If I come with you, where will I sit? Can this pillion hold both of us?" Celine replied.

"All right, sorry for not being able to help you. Immediately contact your papa, it's okay to wait a moment or two," suggested Cindy and then left.

"Yeah, people will come and go. And you will definitely be alone again!" said Celine, to no one.

"You are right, people will always come and go. But, there will always be some kind of meaning behind a meeting and parting."

"YOU....??" Celine exclaimed in surprise, noticing the person who suddenly greeted her.

"Hi ...," said Dareen, the one who suddenly appeared before Celine.

"What are you doing here? Are you following me?" Celine asked with doubting eyes.

"Stalking you?" Darren repeated. "Do I look like someone who lacks work so I have to do such stupid things?"

"Then ... what are you doing here?"

"Just a coincidence," Darren replied casually.

"I can't believe it," Celine replied.

Darren ignored her statement. "I heard that nobody is here to pick you up. Do you want me to drop you?" Darren bargained.

"..." Celine was silent for a moment, she was just a little bit hesitant, but if she refused his offer now, how would she go home?

"No need to hesitate, we are colleagues. And it should not be a problem if I take you home," continued Darren.

"But we just met earlier," the innocent words managed to get out of Celine's mouth.

Hearing Celine's natural answer, for some reason Darren's heart felt warm. In this day and age there were still woman who were innocent, pure, and not made up, he thought.

"Then, how long do you think it will take to get to know you, before I can take you home?"

"Emph ... there is no specific time, but ... I cannot leave with people who I just got to know this morning either," replied Celine. "Besides, we have an unsolved problem."

"Problem you say. Emph ... sounds like I'm interested in discussing that right now,"

Gleg !!!
