This is bad, like really bad, Principal Hina has put me in a really tough spot, I need to think of a way out of this. I'm stuck here in the middle of class, I have a few minutes to think before lunch period starts. Principal Hina wants me to get into a relationship with Fumino, but why? I just don't get it, maybe I should ask Fumino during lunch? Alright I'll put that problem aside, now moving onto Chiyo's problem, everyone in our school hates her, they treat her bad, what can I do to make the school not hate her. Many students say it's because of the way she speaks to them, maybe if we could change the way she speaks to others, then she'll receive less hate. I need to befriend her again, what happened this morning in Principle Hina's office can't happen again. I have lunch with Fumino, so I can't meet her during lunch. Maybe at the end of the day?
I start to bite my nails, I've been thinking too much, I raise my hand up high, "yes Hiro?" Mrs.Hyomi answered. "May I use the restroom," she looked at me strangely, "I'll let you go if you can repeat this sentence." She said as the entire class stared at me. I looked at the board, I was in my English period, she wanted me to say, "The boy and his friend went on an adventure where they found a golden mouse." I said that terribly, a few students silently laughed as I looked to the ground giving a small embarrassed smile. The worst subject I'm in is English everything else I'm good at. "Alright you can go, don't take too long though," Mrs.Hyomi said as I walked out the classroom and headed to the bathroom. I wash my face and look at myself in the mirror, what will happen first, Principal Hina only gave me a little bit of time to arrive at my decision. I don't have much time, I hear the bell ring, I head back to class and grab all my belongings. I have lunch with Fumino right now.
I arrived at her classroom, before I slid the door I felt a tug on my shirt, I turned around and saw Yua looking at me. "Hiro," she said as I stared at her, "yes Yua?" I asked, she looked down at my legs then back to my eyes. "Are you feeling okay?" She asked, "yes why do you ask?" I respond, "it's just that, all through the morning, you've been, I don't know, you just haven't been yourself," I hear the door slide behind me. "Is that it?" I asked, "Hiro, what is she doing here," I heard someone say behind me. I start to sweat as I turn around and see Fumino standing there, "oh hey there, how did you know I was out here," I gave a fake smile.
"I heard your voice from in here," she said, I looked back at Yua staring down at the floor, you could only see her hair. Yua faced up and grabbed my arm, "I can be here if I want," she said seriously, Fumino walked out the classroom and got a hold of my hand, "let's go Hiro, somewhere away from her," Fumino said with dark eyes. "No! Hiro follow me somewhere away from her!" Yua bickered. I give a small sigh, "how about we go to the school's backyard like last time?" I tried to compromise. They both looked at each other with murderer intent, "fine," they both said as they climbed onto me.
We sat down on the same bench like last time, Fumino and Yua both opened up their lunch boxes as I sat there looking up at the sky. I didn't have enough time to make my lunch today, I haven't called my parents in awhile either to ask for some money to buy lunch. Should I ask one of them for some? Or will that start a fight between them. There's two reasons I'm having lunch with Fumino. The first is to not get killed, the second is to try and find out more about Principal Hina. "Hey Fumino," the two looked at me, "what's your relationship between Principal Hina?" I asked, "why do you ask?" She said, "well she sort of threatened me to do something." I said as Yua spoke out, "why would she threaten you!"
"She wants me to do something for her, that I don't want to do. She says that if I don't, then she'll start making things harder for me." I said as Yua put her lunch box next to her, "let me go talk to her, I think I can solve your problem for you," Yua said in a scary tone. I grab onto her shoulder, "who said you could touch me, baka!" She screamed as she punched me in the face. "Hold on how come you can touch me but I can't!" I yell at her, 'that's a different situation!" She yelled back at me then turned her head away from me. "Anyway, so Fumino, can you please tell me?" I asked. "I can't tell you yet, I'll try and fix this Hiro, she said as I sat back down on the bench. When lunch period finished I went back to class and finished all my classes, I stood up from my seat with all my stuff and left the room in a hurry as Yua watched me. I need to find Chiyo, maybe she's in the student council room? I headed over there and knocked on the door, no one answered. I slid the door open and no one was inside.
"What are you doing here?" A voice said as I turned around, it was a male, taller than me wearing a soccer club uniform, "oh I'm just looking for someone," I said, "oh really? I was doing the same, do you happen to know where Student council president Chiyo is? I have to ask her something about my club. He rolled his eyes in disgust. I face the floor, "I'm looking for her as well," "oh really? Why don't we look for her together, I'll buy you a cola." He said. "Sure why not, I'm thirty man," we both looked around all the floors and couldn't find her.
"Maybe she left early?" I said, "yeah maybe," we head to the 1st floor stairs, "you can sit here and wait, I'll go bring the drinks," he said. "Oh alright," he left as I sat down on the streets. I don't even know his name or grade level yet. The way his face changed when he mentioned Chiyo's name, it was like he was disgusted, like it was a sin. I need to change that, I have to change that, Chiyo is my friend, or was my friend in my last life.
Either way she's still my friend, even if in this life she refuses to be my friend I'll still help her. No matter how many times it takes, I'll save her, cause that's what friends do. The student came back and handed me the drink, I put it beside me. "Hey man, sorry but you didn't tell me your name or grade," I gave a small laugh, "oh your right, I'm Fuji Haru, I'm in my third year in Highschool here," he said.
"I'm Itsuki Hiro, I'm in my second year of Highschool, so that makes you my senpai," I respond as he takes a sip of his drink. "Yeah, so do you have a girlfriend?" He asked as he gave a smile, I looked down at the floor, "no I don't," I responded as he checked his smartphone, "I have to go, it was nice meeting you," he smiled at me as he walked away. "See you later," I stand up and wave to him. I grab my cola and open it, I'm not sure if this makes us friends, but he did give me a free drink. I'll try and talk to him more tomorrow, I have 2 days left of school, maybe I was worried for no reason this entire day? Nothing bad has happened yet, at that moment. I sensed someone watching me. I grabbed my stuff and started to run out of the school.
Me and my mouth, shit, I need to hide somewhere quickly, I run into the forest as fast as I could barely dropping my drink. I hid behind a tree as I pant, I'm exhausted and tired, good thing I have this cola. I took a sip out of it, I instantly dropped it and tried to spit out what I drank. My throat was burning, I could hardly breathe, I put my hands on my throat, All I felt was pain, I screamed out loud as I felt my skin turning red, someone is still watching me. Fuji took too long getting the cola's, he put something in my drink, but what? I cried as I kneeled on the floor.
I shoved two fingers onto my mouth as deep as I could reach and instantly vomited out the liquid, I fell next to the vomit, quickly got up grabbing my stuff and kept running till I reached the station as I was still being followed.
