Yang Le's question made the Queen raise her head, looking at her son with big eyes, she shook her head quickly.
"No way, how could you think like that? How could I possibly do something that could cause His Majesty the Emperor to be harmed, let alone killed? Yang Le, my son, what makes you think like that? Has anyone slandered your mother? Tell me, who is he?"
The Queen take her tea cup, take a sip and look in other way, as if try to avoid her son's eyes.
Yang Le was quite sure that his mother was hiding something from him, just looking at the look on her face he was quite sure. At first, he didn't want to ask before all the evidence was available and clear, however, he really wanted to see how his mother would react, and now he had proven his suspicions with his own eyes.
