Chapter 12 - A Plan To Escape

Episode 12

Like shoals of the Ocean, I stood amidst my troubles; Poised to partake in a renegade. I was far from overwhelming my flaws that took my liberty away from me; Uhuru was all I beseech now, but would my heartened prayers be answered, as I prayed to God.

I got off from bed and decided to go to the sitting room to sit for a while. In there was the woman that brought to my existence sitting beside the woman carrying my replicate in her womb.

I wondered why the early morning meeting with my mother again and hope this time my mother won't chop of my head from my body.

Ochuwa stood up as she saw me, walked up to me and pecked me on my lips as if she had a bet with my mother on doing that. I hugged her afterwards. Then she said she had informed her father that in few days, she would embark on the previous journey to the city which she cancelled; she wanted a little break and would love to travel out and spend some months overseas, He refused but later agreed after she had pleaded with him.

She concluded he wouldn't suspect anything, the queen was no more, she would have been the one to suspect if she was pregnant but no one would notice until had she traveled.

I told her it was a good idea but there is a big problem, I brought to her knowledge my ordeal with Omopekhai and his threats, also If I leave with her and Omopekhai gets to the king, they would surely come after my mother and siblings. I don't really know what to do now; its beyond trying to kill two birds with a stone.

"We all have to leave the Ebeni then, not just you, but with your siblings, I have enough money and I would get more from my father, when we get to the city we can start up something" said Ochuwa, meanwhile my siblings had walked in listening to our conversations.

And for Omopekhai you can give him what he wants.

"You mean I should kidnap you?, how will that solve our problems now?; I asked her staring melancholic. She said No, you will have to dance to his tune, tell him I will be coming to visit you in a week time and make him promise you that no one will harm me, so that he would buy what ever you are offering. Then before a week time, we would have all left for city.

"Nice idea, but you should have been this smart before you opened your legs to welcome my son to dance to your meritorious beat" interrupted my mother. "That was too harsh mama"; I responded.

"Well I won't be able the leave with all of you if we succeed, I was born and brought up here and I wouldn't want any of my children in danger, its a good idea, but this house and town reminds me of everything, my family and even my late husband" my mother continued.

I am happy my son found a good woman, who would love him as much as he loves her and also am happy that you are different from your father, looking at Ochuwa as she spoke.

Ochuwa decided to leave and promised she would be around the next day to finalize what ever decisions we concluded on.
