Chapter 9 - Plans for a Business

Looking at the comments on his video, Andy's expression was rigid and slightly angered by the comments of his viewers, though deep inside, he's quite pleased every time the siblings are in his video as every time they're on it, his videos would have spikes in his viewership while receiving a couple of hundreds or so subscribers every time.

"They're really my lucky stars! I really should ask them some time to eat out so I could at least repay them!"

He was really happy seeing the increasing popularity of his video that he swore hat he would treat the two siblings when he gets the chance.

"But what do you mean I'm a scaredy-cat!? It's a freaking shark! Damn it!" Andy had the urge to leave a comment and scold those people calling him a coward!

"Big or small, a shark is still a shark, dammit!"

Meanwhile.

Around twelve in the afternoon, John had just finished his work and preparing to get off work.

But before that, his boss, Mr. Smith came over with a small white envelope in hand and handed it over towards him.

"Here's your salary kid"

Mr. Smith handed the envelope to John, but before the latter could take it, Mr. Smith suddenly pulled his hand back and looked straight at John.

"Are you sure you really want to quit kid?"

John looked back at the old man and replied with a smile, "Yes, thanks for everything old man"

Mr. Smith looked at him for a couple more seconds before his face brightened up with a smile and finally handed the money to John with a chuckle.

"What do you plan to do after this then? You should know that classes would start in three weeks"

John pocketed the money and then he scratched the back of his head and said, "I plan to sell fish"

The old man raised an eyebrow and said, "You want to sell fish? Are you talking about like the fish vendors or my line of business?"

John quickly denied it while waving his hand in front of him and said, "Oh no no, what I meant was to sell ornamental fish"

"You want to sell fish as pets?" Mr. Smith soon couldn't help but chuckle after hearing his answer.

"Yeah," said John.

"You plan to buy them from those shops in the city then sell them here? Because the nearest ornamental fish farm is a two hours away from our town" Mr. Smith said, knowing that the nearest fish farm that also sells ornamental fish is a little far away from where they are located.

"No, I actually plan to catch them" John smiled mysteriously.

Mr. Smith stared him to see if he was messing with him, but he seeing his eyes that says that he was curious about his answer, he just chuckled and didn't question him any further and just said, "Alright, if you face any problems, you can look for me"

"Thank you old man, for everything" John gave him hug before he departed.

"Good luck kid!" Mr. Smith said with a yell as he watched him walk farther away.

"Good luck kid, you're gonna need it...cause the world isn't that fair" Mr. Smith mumbled as he watched the kid walked away.

"Now, the very first thing I need to do is buy some fish tanks and get the necessary documents to open a store so I can finally start the business" John mumbled to himself while rubbing his hands with excitement.

He quickly drove home in his car, which is an old grey 2008 Honda Civic Sedan. An old car left behind by his late parents that have been stuck in their backyard for a couple of years, which was had been busted and left aside in their backyard until John got it all fixed up.

Ten minutes later, he arrived home.

Woof! Woof!

"What's up boy?" John sat down on one knee and started petting Rusty.

After playing a bit with their dog, he quickly made his way inside after unlocking the front door and quickly headed towards the kitchen as he slowly prepared lunch for his dog.

Soon, John went to get a shower after feeding their dog.

Kylie wasn't in the house cause John had left her to the clinic with Lorraine and her mother looking after her. He wasn't worried about her causing trouble to them as he does in fact admit that his sister sometimes does act way more mature from her age, and she's only eight, that's already awesome for someone her age.

And a quarter of an hour later, John came out of his house in casual wear.

He was wearing a white shirt with three vertical black stripes on the left side of his shirt, paired with a pair of black shorts and black imitation Nike shoes.

He might not beat the likes of handsome celebrities in terms of looks, but he was still considered good looking as his looks can be rated between seven and eight.

John quickly got inside his car and drove off towards Laoag City.

Luckily for him, it wasn't the busiest time of the day so there weren't a lot of cars on the road, and he managed to reach the city in thirty minutes or so.

John parked his car at a parking lot beside the city hall before getting off and headed somewhere.

"John!"

He arrived before a fast-food chain...with a big M on it, where he saw Andy standing there and waving towards him.

That's right, he had called over Andy to help him. After all, even though the dude is kind of a coward sometimes, he's still pretty reliable sometimes, especially now.

"Come one, let's head to my car so I can show you the ornamental fish store that I go to!"

Handing over the ice cream he ordered earlier to John, Andy immediately led him out of the store the moment he arrived and then he eagerly led John towards where he parked his car.

They didn't walk far as Andy's car was just parked at the back of the fast-food chain, facing the local church of the city.

John looked at the white car which is an old model of Toyota.

With the door unlocked, John slowly hopped on the passenger seat while Andy quickly started the car and drove off.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at the edge of the city where they parked beside a building called Marine World.

Of course, having a name like would make anyone assume that the place is big, like a an amusement for aquatic creatures or something, but it's not. The place is just a little bit bigger than a regular house, but the inside is really wide and was full of fish tanks of different sizes with at least some of them having fishes swimming around inside.

"Whoa"

The moment they stepped foot inside, John couldn't help but exclaim as he was amazed with the things inside, especially looking at the colorful creatures swimming inside the tank.

It was his first time seeing some of them.
