Chapter 4 - Chaper 4: Got a fever and thoughts changed

That night, Rainbow was admitted to the respiratory ward of the hospital, with an 80-year-old grandmother in the same room as An Wei was hospitalized because of pneumonia. Rainbow was lying on the hospital bed and a high fever of 39.4 degrees made her groggy. The nurse next to her was preparing to draw blood, and her mother was talking on the phone with her father.

"The hospitalization procedures have been completed, she has moved in, don't worry, you can come to hospital tomorrow morning." Mother said to Daddy.

"Okay, then I'll go over tomorrow. Right now i dont know what happened to our daughter, and possibly acute leukemia, this is too scary." Dad said on the phone.

"Yes, but it shouldn't be a big problem. It's okay to be at the hospital at night to get the fever off as quickly as possible. She was unconscious after a day of fever."

"It's okay, don't worry too much"

Rainbow lay quietly, listening to her mother muttering next to her. While the nurse was busy, Rainbow looked at the ceiling and suddenly felt that life is so fragile. She hasn't done anything yet. She wants to learn guitar and hasn't learned yet. She also like to learn dancing but haven't signed up yet. She wish to learn oil painting too... "How fragile a human life is. God can take it away at any time. Even a cold that can take you to the hospital. So scared." Rainbow thought to myself, it might be the first time she was hospitalized, or she had never encountered such a thing before, perhaps she had a fever, she was half awake and half asleep all night, thinking a lot...

Rainbow was given a fever-reducing medicine last night, so the fever subsided the next morning, but there is still a possibility of a comeback. Because of the need to find the cause of the high fever, She has been doing various checks the whole morning, and after all complete she took a rest . An Rainbow back to the room, where only the grandmother next door was there.

"Why are you in the hospital, my girl". Grandma asked.

"Oh, my high fever has not gone away, the doctor suggested that I need to be hospitalized." Rainbow replied.

"Young people should take good care of their bodies, and don't waste the best gift from God. A healthy body is the basis for achieving everything. This floor is the respiratory department, which is basically only for the elderly. Now you are so young, and so many dreams have not been realized yet, and the world has not yet been taken. The outside world is very beautiful. Waiting for you young people to break through. Do not wait until you are old, and finally find that you have insufficient strength. I used to like traveling very much. I went out to look around. I didn't have time at work. When I retire, I want to go out but need to take care of my grandson. When my grandson grows up, I don't have strength to go outside. My health is bad. ....." Grandma was a retired teacher with open-minded heart. Rainbow listened very attentively and felt very reasonable. Her thoughts changed a lot.

At night Rainbow was lying on the hospital bed alone, thinking about what the grandma said to her during the day. "Yes, grandma is right. Opportunities are rare. Why do you want to live in your comfort zone? Jump out and take a look. Maybe you will see a wider sky. Now is the best opportunity to be. It's a gift for my 30-year-old, and escape the nagging of family members." This illness also changed Rainbow completely. She made a promise that she would learn everything after She was discharged from the hospital. Make good use of every minute and every second, because no one knows what will happen in the next second, the only thing you can do is to grasp the present, Liver for now.

"Okay, I decided to go to Thailand to work." Rainbow thought to herself.
