Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Seiya enters Sweet Desire Bakery and sees Sister Khadija chatting it up with someone he didn't recognize. He waited as not to be desperate for something he could care less about. As she turns around and faces Seiya, she smiles.

"Was I keeping you waiting," Sister Khadija says, teasingly.

"Not at all," Seiya says shaking his head.

"Well see you in two weeks," Sister Khadija says waving goodbye to the cashier.

Seiya walks up to the register and says, "So I need six of your brownies."

"Okay," the cashier says. "We have chocolate lover, gluten-free, vegan, and regular. Which would you like?"

"Three chocolate lovers and three regulars."

"That will be twelve dollars and ninety-six cents."

Seiya hands her a twenty and ninety-six cents with the change from his wallet.

"Your change is eight dollars," she says, handing him his change. "Someone please bring out more of the chocolate lovers' brownies."

He waited as the time to look around the bakery. It took on a kind of homey vibe to it. Seiya decides to put three dollars in the tip jar when they handed him the box.

Seiya comes in to see Aisha in the waiting room. As her birthday was approaching Aisha wanted to get a tattoo done by him before her mother found out.

"Aisha. I wasn't expecting you here until an hour," Seiya says as he puts the box down.

Aisha smiles as she gets up to get her tattoo done. "My mom is out at the new bakery ordering some cupcakes for the party. So I thought it would be a good idea to come early."

Seiya nods and motions to follow him into his studio. He sits down and turns to a blank page of his sketchbook.

"I know you've wanted to get lotus flowers as your tattoo. Where would you like that tattoo to be?" Seiya starts to sketch out what he believed would look on Aisha.

"I was thinking of having it on my thigh," she says as she sits on the tattoo seat.

Aisha seems more excited about getting the tattoo than he was. It was quite amusing to see her thought process. As he finishes his sketch he rolls over to Aisha and shows her his sketch.

The sketch had lotus flowers surrounding a crescent moon. The petals fall neatly on the moon as if it was meant to be there. Aisha was impressed by the detail Seiya put into the piece.

"That's beautiful," Aisha says with a smile.

"Thank you," Seiya says.

Two hours past, Aisha hadn't groaned or fidgeted in pain and Seiya was grateful for her patients. She didn't move from the chair. Seiya finished something with the tattoo. He smiles at his work and knew that Aisha would like it.

"It's finished," he says pulling back from Aisha.

"Thank you," she says.

Aisha hands him the money and leaves. She already knew about how much it was and didn't have much else to say. Seiya wasn't the type to talk after the job was done and there was no need for it. Aisha left and he had to work on his sketches.
