The wide doors opened and it spat a handsome man wearing a sky blue robe with patterns of royal side by slides. Behind him was his personal attendant and right-hand man. The throne chamber turned stiff and quiet the moment they saw the second prince's state.
Yi Lin halted forward, an inch away from the throne of the emperor. He kneeled down as his two attendants also did what he did. Everyone in the room glanced at the second prince. Who wouldn't notice him? His sky blue and fine robe are drenched in blood, stinking and slimy.
In his right hand was a dagger dripping blood. Also his trails from the door left red footprints. His appearance is like a murderer reporting back on his duty.
The emperor was amused and surprised at the same time. He stood up from his throne made of gold and marbles. He looked down on his kneeling son. His lips stretched a half smile. For the first time, he saw Yi Lin bathing himself with blood.
