From his sharp gaze, Yi-Lin's eyes dilated in excitement. "I knew it!" he blurted out. He let go of Xianyu and stood straight beside the bed. "You are terrible at peeking," he stated.
Dumbfounded, Xianyu lifted his elbow and leaned on the bed. His gaze went to the shadow beside the window. Half of his body was covered by darkness since the gust of wind a while ago blew the flame off the lamp.
The warm rays of the moonlight once again penetrated the room. The mysterious figure stepped forward, revealing his black leather boots. Xianyu looked up. The man was wearing a red robe with black lines across his sleeves. He was tall. He felt his heart thumping.
Yi-Lin smirked, "I knew it was you, so show yourself."
