Ayden was very happy to get the tickets of Japan in his hands. He was feeling like as if he was so close to Cora. That night Ayden and his father ate peacefully at the table. From the next day he started to pack his luggage. He heard a knock on his door, he opened it. It was Mr. Stevenson.
"Good morning! Ayden breakfast is served please come downstairs Mr. Adams is waiting for you".
Ayden smiled and said, "Good morning Uncle Steve, yeah I'm down in a bit". Mr. Steve left.
Ayden brushed his hair and put a hoodie and went downstairs. He went to the dining table where his father was waiting for him. He pulled out the chair and sat down.
"So you are packing your stuff?"
"Yes dad!" Ayden nodded, " I almost finished packing".
" Good , your flight is at 2:00pm tomorrow you remember right??"
" Yes dad I remember."
" Good , here is your toast and scrambled eggs eat it".
They finished their breakfast, Ayden went up stairs and his dad went to office.
" So should I call her?", Ayden told to himself , " maybe she is asleep now? Ughh these time zones".
He started to pack his things again. Suddenly his phone beeped, he picked it up and saw that it was a message from Cora and it says, " Hey how are you doing?"
"Hey!! I'm fine what about you?", Ayden texted back. After some moments Ayden's phone rang up , it was Cora who was calling him.
Ayden picked it up, " hello!"
" Hey! How are you doing?"
" I'm doing just fine, I need something from you".
" What?"
" Send me your address".
" But why do you need my address?"
"It's urgent".
"Wait , I'm sending it."
Ayden phone beeped up , Cora sent her Address to his number.
" Thank you".
" But tell me why do you need it?"
" I wanna send you a gift"".
" But Ayden…."
"Shh! don't turn it down I chose this for you please accept it".
"okay but..."
" No buts you will accept it".
" Okay you win".
" I know I always win, and I will win over you always".
Cora giggled. Ayden couldn't wait anymore to surprise her, his flight is tomorrow at 8 pm.
" So aren't you gonna sleep?"
" Yeah , good night".
" Good night to you".
Cora cut the call. Ayden felt a unknown peace in his mind. He almost finished packing his luggage, no its wait for tomorrow.
Ayden was happy and felt peaceful for the entire day until evening. Ayden was coming downstairs to drink water , he heard a familiar voice calling his name. It didn't take too much time to made Ayden realize whpo was it, it was Camellia .
" Ayden !!!!!" , she was so excited to see him, she went to him and hugged him.
Ayden was not at all excited or happy to her here , he knew who sent her here, his dad. Ayden released himself from her arms.
" Why are you here?"
" What kind of question is that silly? I came here to meet you , why? Am I not allowed to visit my fiancée?"
" How many do I have to tell you don't call me your fiancée?"
" Oh ! Ayden my baby", Camellia cupped his face in her hands " Baby I love you so much can't you see?"
Ayden release himself from her filthy hands ," Love? My a$*,If you have really loved me you wouldn't have done anything like that, you don't love me Camellia, you love my fame and money".
Camellia clenched her fists in rage.
" You know what Camellia , I have found someone who I really love and I'll marry her in front of your eyes".
Camellia burst into laughter , " And what do you think your dad will give you permission to marry your ' LOVE OF LIFE'."
Ayden smirked , " You are so dumb Camellia , my dad loves me and he will do anything for my happiness".
Camellia stomped her feet in to the ground and left Ayden's house.
Ayden screamed, "if you want to complaint about this to my father you can?'
He heard a starting sound of car. Ayden laughed so hard that his stomach was hurting. He drank water from and kitchen and went upstairs. He entered in his room, saw a red jewelry box. He picked up the box and went to bed and lied down. He opened the box and took out the pendant that he brought for Cora . He took it out from the box and sat on chair holding it in his hands.
"Can you really make love me that much ?",Ayden said, " I don't know if this can make her love me even more , but I'll never stop giving my full efforts to make her mine for forever."
He kept admiring the pendant in curiosity and thinking that how it will look on Cora. He smiled, thinking that he will so close to her by this time. All day he was happy and was feeling excited. At night , on the dinner table Ayden's father asked him, "so are you ready?"
" Almost dad".
" So don't forget to pack some light clothes too".
" Okay dad". Ayden's dad hummed.
Ayden was getting more comfortable with his dad, he was happy.
" Son after you achieve your medical degree I want you to take the responsibility of the company as the CEO".
"But dad…."
"No Ayden you promised that you will take the responsibility".
Ayden recalled everything he promised to his father in order to fulfill his dreams, to study in a medical college. Ayden clenched his fists in which he was holding cutlery.
" But first let me have my degree". Mr. Adams nodded.
Ayden went to bed early, but that excitement was gone from his face, he was tensed about his future. Alarm beeped at 5 am. Ayden got up from his bed , now he knew in some hours he will be very close to Cora. It takes 16 hrs. to reach Tokyo from New Orleans. He bathed , got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast. Mr. Adams was also there. Ayden said to Mr. Stevenson , " uncle Steve , please tell someone to put my luggage in car. I'll leave after having my breakfast".
" Good morning dad!".
" Good morning, someone is very happy", Mr. Adams chuckled, " at least you are happy that's all I want."
Ayden also smiled, at this point he understood how much he will miss his father. After having breakfast he bid everyone a goodbye , hugged his father and left for the airport. He checked in at the airport and boarded his flight. Ayden was very excited that after 16 hours he is going to meet her and surprise her. He was thinking what will he do when he will meet her, how they will spend their time and how she will react when he will propose her by giving her that necklace. He fall asleep in the flight. Ayden woke up and the they announced the landing of the plane.
" Passengers please fasten your seatbelts , the plane in going to land soon , please let us know if you have any problems!!"
Ayden rubbed his eyes, he ruffled his hair back of his head and put his phone and his belongings in his handbag. Ayden checked out of the airport and booked a cab. As he was taught 4 languages in his childhood, Japanese was one of them. He went to his hotel and checked in, he had a long journey. Hotel staff helped him to carry his luggage. His room was on the 10th floor. He opened his room's door and the staff carried Ayden's luggage.
" Sir do you need something else?"
" No , thank you!!"
" If you need something else please call at number for room service, thank you".
"Yes!!"
Ayden dismissed the staff. He changed and freshened up . He got a heavy jet lag so he flopped on the soft bed and fell asleep.
