Their eyes met with each other.
"You're a nice person", said Cora.
Ayden couldn't believe in ears and eyes, if he was hearing and seeing the same person whom he saw in college.
Her smile was radient and warm as sunshine, her face was shining with happiness.
"Well, thank you", Ayden flustered red.
The waiter came to take their orders, " May I take your orders Sir?"
"2 raspberry pastries and 2 cappuccino and one with less sugar", said Ayden to the waiter.
"Thank you sir, your order is coming right way".
"Thank you".
All that time Cora was staring at Ayden.
"How do you know I love raspberries?"
"I've noticed you pick up raspberry pastries from canteen....so".
"So you stalked me?"
"NO NO NO!!...I mean...!"
Cora chuckled.
"Clam down, I was just teasing you.. hahaha!" She laughed.
"Ohhh!!😅".
It was spring time, the cherry blossoms bloomed and cherry trees were pink with blossoms.
"Nice weather isn't it?" asked Ayden.
"Yes!", Cora looked up at the cherry tree.
"So you sing ?"
"No umm...not like professionally", Cora's cheeks became red.
Soon their order came. Ayden took a sip of his coffee and said, "You've beautiful voice indeed".
"Thank you".
The wind blows and the petals of cherry blossoms fall on the ground.
Cora and Ayden was talking then saw that a cherry blossom petal was sticking on her hair.
"Hey Cora a petal is sticking on your hair".
"Umm..where?"
"Wait let me remove it".
Cora looked at Ayden eyes....then their eyes met for a second then she looked down at the table and blushed.
"Th..thank you", She stucked her hair behind her ear and blushed.
They finished their coffee and got up and payed the bill, went out of the cafe.
"It was nice spending time with you", said Ayden.
"Yeah".
"So see you on Monday?"
"Yeah, good bye!", Cora smiled and went.
Ayden see off her and walked away.
After some 2-3 minutes Ayden heard that someone was calling his name from behind.
"Ayden....Ayden.....stop!.....heyy".
Ayden halted, turned around and he saw Cora was running towards him waving at him.
Cora stopped in front of him and said," I thought you won't hear, silly me!! Haha".
"Are you okay? You're breathing heavily! Are okay???!!"
"Yeah I'm alright mister! Don't worry! See", Cora jumped 2-3 times and stopped.
"Okay, do you wanna tell me something?"
"Will you like to go to the carnival with me?"
Ayden was shocked for a moment.
"Yeah.....!! I mean sure!"
"But first do you have some water? I'm freaking thirsty you dumb".
"Here take it", Ayden handed her the bottle.
She drank some water and they headed towards the carnival.
When they reached, the carnival was crowded.
"Oh no no no! I'm not going in there....it's too much crowded", said Ayden.
"Oh yes you are!"
"Wai.....waitttt!"
She grabbed his hand and dragged him inside.
They first headed towards the food stalls.
"Don't leave hand or else you'll be lost and I'm not going to find in middle of the crowd 😒", said Cora.
"What should I say now? Okay or something else?"
She ignored what he said.
"Hey see the crispy hot dog corner!!"
"Where? Oh my God they are my favorite thing to eat!!"
"Mine too, let's grab some!"
Ayden buy them 2 hotdogs.
They laughed and shared a lot of memories.
After that they played some games, Ayden won a pink unicorn soft toy for Cora.
"Hey Ayden let's click some pictures in the instant picture booth".
"But I'm very tall I won't be fit in the booth!"
"Pfftt! Hahahaha, then kneel down I'll take pictures in that booth!"
"Okay..okay let's go".
They clicked many selfies and pictures. Ayden clicked many pictures of smiling, laughing and innocent Cora.
That day Ayden saw a childish aura in that stone cold and gloomy girl.
"Hey Ayden lets ride that roller coaster!"
"Do you really mean it?"
"Yeah of course!"
"O...ookkaayy", Ayden sighed "let's go....hmmphh!".
After riding roller coaster, Ayden puked and Cora laughed looking at him and said, "And you were saying that I shouldn't be afraid! Hahahaha".
In the evening they were standing on a bridge and was watching the sunset.
Cora sighed and said, " Thank you!"
"Hmmm! Why?", Said Ayden while licking his icecream.
"Thank for making my birthday special and happier than ever!"
"Birthday?", Ayden was looking at her in utter suspicion.
"Today my mumma will be so happy that I celebrated my birthday".
Ayden sighed and said," I didn't knew that today is your birthday but I've brought something for you".
"Huh!?".
"It's nothing big but I wanna give it to you cause I think it'll look great on you".
Ayden handed her a box.
Cora opened and saw a beautiful hairpin.
"Yuki no hana".
"Huhhhhhhhh!".
"Oh it's nothing".
"Okay".
"It's really beautiful Ayden, thank you so much for this!".
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yes !"
"Why you keep distance from others?"
"As you're my new friend I'll tell you everything today why I keep distance from others."
