Chapter 6 - Don't Ignore ME

*Believe it or not, Ellen actually had a role to play in the book. Before Aurora was found, Ellen was able to enter the School of Light Magic with the brooch that he took from Vince. Though, Ellen did not sneak in to the school to join classes. He snuck in to steal precious school artifacts and items. He was known as the School Ghost.

His thievery continued up until Aurora was enrolled into the School of Light Magic. But when the King and Queen decided to heed a coronation in honor of their daughter, Rico and his gang devised a plan to steal the princess's crown, which involved, Ellen.

Obviously, Rico's plan didn't work. Vince, Victor, Arroyo and the other two remaining male leads set a trap in order to catch the School Ghost.

Using Aurora as bait and creating a duplicate of the real crown, Ellen was finally caught.

But even so, Ellen didn't go down without a fight. He grabbed Aurora and held her hostage, because of this, none of the male leads made a move to attack. With Aurora in his arms, he dashed for an escape.

This led out into a series of events where Aurora was held hostage by Rico and his crew of bandits. This turned into a character development arc for Vince and Victor. Where Vince finally takes revenge on the people that killed his sister, and Victor, finally finding out the truth of what happened. In the end both of the brothers were able to save Aurora, and reconcile their relationship as a family.

But I hardly see that happening now.*

Since Victoria was able to escape Rico's crew alive, and his son now betrothed to her, Vince won't have a revenge arc and more than likely, Ellen won't have to become the School Ghost.

Victoria looked over at Ellen. He had blue ocean eyes, dirty blonde hair and white pale skin. He looked clean in new clothes, he almost looked like a normal boy. Except for the fact that he's extremely handsome.

*He kinda looks like dad. Except, dad doesn't have blue eyes, and dad is a lot tanner.*

Victoria continued to walk with a heavy heart, now remembering her life as Emily. Her father's were always there for her through thick and thin. They even took a break from their jobs in order to help her feel comfortable at the hospital when she was sick.

*I miss my dads.*

Victoria continued to walk further and further. Behind her, she heard footsteps which belonged to Ellen and the two other men.

But then, she heard it.

Tick tock.....

Tick tock.....

Tick tock.....

Tick tock.....

Those clock sounds!

Victoria turned her head to face the three men. Her eyes alert and her gaze luring. She held Vince tightly on her back and she was ready to run.

Her body still hasn't fully recovered from the fight, but she has recovered just enough to do a short sprint in order to escape.

"Do you hear that? " One of the men said.

"Shh! " Ellen hushed as he perked his ears to listen.

*Now that I think about it, I do hear something. If look at my left and right, the ticks of the clock seem to get louder. But when I look ahead, the ticks are softer.*

Victoria continued to look ahead, wondering whether she should just run for it.

*Should I just go now? With the energy I have now, I can do a hundred meter sprint. But doing that will take all my energy, and I definitely won't be able to walk in this body if I do that. But, if I don't go now..... Who knows what might happen?*

The ticking was getting louder and louder. Victoria took one last look at Ellen. But when she looked at him, all the ticking sounds disappeared.

Ellen looked back at Victoria, his eyes stern and focused.

"Hey, are yo-"

But before Victoria could finish her sentence, Ellen swung his sword close to her face. Victoria closed her eyes and readied for impact.

*Shit! I let my guard down!*

"Are you okay?" a gentle and soft voice spoke.

Victoria opened her eyes to see Ellen, only inches away from her face, staring right at her!

"I-"

Victoria paused as she noticed something beneath her. It was an arrow, completely cut in half.

*Did he just.... block that arrow with his sword?!*

"Well, well, well. It just ain't my lucky day today now is it? " a voice spoke from behind.

Victoria turned around to see that it was a lanky man who was about the same height as her.

"Scurry? What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Rico? " the man with a tattoo of knife asked.

"We ain't workin' for that sympathetic bastard no more! This time, we follow the people who actually got some money! Heh, and fortunately, some rich folks gonna pay us a whole lotta cash tah slice that girl in half." The man said as he looked at Victoria.

"I was hoping tah get a little rough with yah, but yah see, I don't like strong women."

*Ah, so he's the one who raped Victoria in the book. I'm kinda dissapointed. He doesn't even look like a piece of work. But who am I to judge, every single one of these men probably did it before him.*

"Hah, I was worried that I might be your type, but thank goodness I'm not. You see, I don't like men born with no nuts. " Victoria teased.

The men from behind Scurry started to giggle.

"SHUT UP!" Scurry yelled.

"Leave us alone Scurry. Or you and your men will die here and now. " Ellen ordered.

"Oh yeah? And what's your little gang of bastards and pretty face gonna do? Beat us up?! HAH please!"

Scurry paused and looked at Ellen.

"Tch! Ya can't do nothin'! There's three of you, and loads of us!" Scurry boasted as he pointed to his team.

Though their lives were in danger, Victoria's mind was somewhere else.

"Did he just say three of us? But there's five? Four of us can fight! Did he just ignore me?! "

Victoria's brows furrowed, her fist tightened and her eyes glared at Scurry.

"Hold my brother for me."

Victoria lent Vince over to Ellen.

"You little fucker. My very presence should be enough for you to beg for mercy. But you even dare to ignore me? "

Victoria raised her head, her eyes darting at Scurry's.

"Pieces of shit like you, should just DIE. "
