"You're so adorable to be called a monster." Rema said.
"It's not that offensive to be called a "monster" from our perspective. Monsters are actually the mortal enemies of the humans but we monsters tend to be not unified but this doesn't mean that we are weak. Instead we monsters have strength to fight five humans with the same combat rank at the same time." Sera explained softly.
"So we humans are weak?" Rema asked nervously.
"Not really, humans still managed to find a way for them to fight us evenly. They can compensate there weak power with many great skills and techniques."
"What are combat rank that you were talking about earlier?" Rema asked curiously. She didn't know that she was already drifting from her early questions that are needed to be asked.
"A combat rank are just simply ranks. It is divided from Earth Rank, Heavenly Rank, and lastly God Rank but you don't need to know the Heavenly Rank and God Rank for now. For now, I'll let you know what a Earth Rank is." Sera said.
"So what is an Earth Rank?" Rema asked as she go with the flow. She was still convinced that this was only a dream, and will soon wake up from this.
"Earth Rank are divided by 5 layers which are called the Buccela layer, Mantellum layer, Exteriores layer, Interiorem layer, and lastly the Terra layer. Each layer has 5 tiers." Sera explained.
"Then what rank are you, Sera?" Rema asked curiously.
"I'm at Earth Rank, Terra layer, tier 4. I'm close to being a Heavenly Rank." Sera said proudly.
"Are you strong?"
"Of course I am. An Earth Rank at Buccela layer tier 1 is 2 times stronger than an average human. And think about how stronger I am since I'm a monster. Hmph." Sera said with a bit of arrogance.
"Why do I need to know these kinds of things?" Rema asked.
"Of course you need to know since you will be transported on that world."
"What!? Why me, and isn't this just a dream!?" Rema asked nervously.
"This is not a dream, human girl. This is reality. You're already dead in your previous world. My God forcefully took your soul to be transported to our world." Sera explained.
"But, why me? I thought that you are enemies with humans, and I'm clearly a human. This must be a mistake, please take me back." Rema begged as she shook Sera's body.
"Yes, it was a mistake on our part. We were supposed to get only animal souls from your world but we made an error, and that error is you." Sera said with a guilty face.
"We can only give you two choices for now. One of them is you reincarnating in our world, and the other one is disposing you or in short killing you." Sera continued.
Rema was shaken to the very core that she had fallen to the ground, and started crying.
"How could this happen to me? I'm only 15 years old, and who will take care of my parents when they grow old. I'm an only child, I can't possibly leave them." Rema said while crying.
"You can still have a chance to see them if you reincarnate..." Sera said quietly but enough for Rema to hear.
"What? Is that true?" Rema asked franticly.
"Yes as long as you reach the so called God Rank." Sera said.
"But that is the highest rank... How long did it take you to achieve your current rank?"
"It only took me 10 years to accomplish, and that is fast considering that I'm a genius hehehe." Sera said proudly.
"If your a genius then it might take me longer to achieve that rank, and my parents might not longer exist when I reach God Rank." Rema said sadly.
"I heard rumors that a God Rank can revive dead people so you can take your time to reach that rank, and just revive your parents when you achieve that rank." Sera said as if it was common sense.
"I don't want that, and what I want is to see my parents before they die." Rema said angrily.
"Then your only choice is to rank up fast to get to your parents. So would you choose to reincarnate or die? Please answer quickly since I still need to train to rank up." Sera said.
Rema stayed silent for a few minutes before saying her answer.
"I choose to reincarnate." Rema said with a resolute voice.
"Great! I will need a bit of preparation to ready the body that you will reside in. Wait for a bit." Sera said, and then vanished instantly.
It didn't take long for Sera to come back.
"You're done?" Rema asked.
"Yes, and I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?" Sera asked.
"The good one"
"The good news is you can already reincarnate, and the body you will reside is the bad news."
"Why is it bad?"
"Well... since you already know that my God is a monster, you should expect that the body your soul will reside with will not be a human body..." Sera said.
"What kind of monster is it? Is it like yours? If it is then I'm fine with that." Rema said.
"Hehehehe... sorry but it isn't"
"Then what is it?" Rema asked curiously.
"It's a parasite monster." Sera said while opening it's hand to show me a very small creature. It was so small that you won't be able to notice it even if you look closely.
"Why this? Isn't this weak? Are you planning to kill me instead of reincarnating me? What can this little body do!?" Rema shouted with anger.
"We don't have anymore monster bodies you can possess. The other animal souls already possessed the other monster bodies."
"Then just get me one, I'm willing to wait." Rema said while seating on the ground.
"Umm... the thing is... you only have five minutes to live. If you don't possess this parasite monster, your soul will cease to exist so we don't have anymore time to let you possess another monster body."
"What!?" Rema shouted.
